The Electric Forest

By Naturespace · 2 reviews ·

Dark and brooding, the sky wraps around the forest as the electrons choose their team. Below, the trees sway like spectators doing the wave with pulses of air that spill down from above and swirl around the woods. They provide a sense of shelter, making something pleasant out of an event that would be quite different out in the open.  Once they are fully organized, the electrons huddle in the dark cloud and agree to an attack plan. When the intensity is just right, one of them yells “Charge!” At once, they all bolt down to the surface in a flash, releasing energy in the form of heat and light. The game is on. The nighttime forest environment is actually rather pleasing, with light activity from the nocturnal critters rising through the gentler moments. The ground becomes saturated as the raindrops attempt to penetrate as deep as they can, only to instantly merge with the cold water that preceded them.  This is a very natural storm with stretches of gentle rain between strikes. It can be both relaxing or intense, depending on how you listen to it. Played loudly, the thunder and lightning strikes have some real muscle and will wake the neighbors. Played softly, the storm is gentle and wide, and is great for reading. Bringing a sense of warmth and humidity, this storm can instantly wash away the cold winter outside.

This is a nice addition to the already great selection of storm tracks available at NatureSpace. The rain is steady, but has varying patterns of intensities. If you listen closely, you can hear a faint song from the forest critters, especially when the rain comes to a brief shower. The overhead rolling thunder claps are subtle and sometimes loud and startling if listening too loudly. when the rain slows, you can hear a brisk wind sweep across, giving you the illusion of feeling a cool breeze. Every detail can be heard clearly ... right down to the critter calls, the strong winds rustling the leaves, the dripping of water off the leaves, the splashing of water into the puddles on the ground, and the sound rain makes as it hits dirt. Phenomenal track and very enjoyable. If you enjoy stormy rain tracks, be sure to add this one to your collection.

The steady rain is soothing and if you play it louder the thunder strikes are shocking! Ha. Pun not intended. Animals around you make themselves known subtly. This is a great one to just put on and do whatever. Maybe bake some chocolate chip cookies. Yeah :) love it y'all. Thank you! Never a bad track. Ever. All epic. 100%
