How It Works
Naturespace recordings are made with specialized microphone arrays that capture sound the way human ears receive it: from all directions, with the natural differences in timing, level, and frequency that the brain uses to place sounds in three-dimensional space. A bird overhead sounds overhead. Wind approaching from the left arrives from the left. A river below you sounds below you. The brain recognizes these spatial cues instantly and without effort. There is nothing to learn, nothing to configure. You press play and you are somewhere else.
This is what Naturespace calls Holographic Audio: a proprietary spatial recording and mastering process, refined since 2009, that renders three-dimensional sound through any standard stereo headphones. No special hardware. No head tracking. No processing on the device. The spatial information is baked directly into the recording itself.
