The Secrets of Sunlight

Air and light transfuse into chromatic nectar through a steady synthesis of elements that fill the boundary between earth and space. Katydids, butterflies and grasshoppers dance and multiply in the post-meridiem glow. The atmosphere is enchanted with color and radiant birdsong as the wandering shadows of the trees and leaves drift slowly eastward across the soft face of the earth. Gentle breezes evolve into rivers of air that stream the starlight silver pollen through their tumbling currents, refracting the sunbeams into motions that caress the flowers and nourish the organic machines of paradise. This track is the warmest, most pleasant thing ever. The mood is bright and active, but also incredibly spacious and airy. The holographic imaging of the birds, grasshoppers and katydids is spellbinding and immersive. Over speakers, it fills the room with daylight and summer air. Under headphones, the detail of the image is astounding. This track is highly recommended for combating the effects of winter and adding a sense of life to any room. It's very 3D. As usual, it is important to set the volume correctly; playing it too loud will diminish the sense of space and serenity. Start very quietly and raise it from there.

Amazing!!!! Love this App
A splendid recording that I thoroughly enjoy. The description "warmest, most pleasant thing ever" is accurate! It's very similar to Utopia, but with a few key differences. Secrets of Sunlight is also an airy meadow, but compared to Utopia it has less wind, more prominent birdsong, and lots of close insect flybys. It strikes me as being recorded around midday, whereas Utopia is more of an afternoon track. Secrets of Sunlight is fantastic over speakers. It's also fairly active and would be great to use with the Wake Timer. The "sister track" Utopia is better suited as an ambience for afternoon reading with headphones. In my opinion, you need to have at least one -- if not both -- of these tracks in your collection.
This is a good open air, early morning kind of track. Say's sunshine but nothing too noisy. Good for a morning meditation if you want to pretend that you are out in the park without dogs, people and kids ruining your concentration. There's nothing particularly special about this track though. But if you are after the quintessential nature/birdsong track then this is a great choice. Has a pleasant mix of birdsong, light winds, faint water in the background and insects.
My favorite track to awaken to or to take a short snooze.
When I started using Naturespace I thought the forest tracks would be my favorites, but spacious meadows have stolen my affections. "The Secrets of Sunlight" in particular is perfect for reading or writing. Bright and spacious, it leaves me feeling contented and alert, perfect for a creative frame of mind. Just enough activity without being distracting.
I imagine I'm standing in the middle of a sunlight meadow surrounded by pristine forest. The air is filled with joyful birds, all high above in the surrounding trees. Grasshoppers take flight as a light wind whispers through the glade. Time to find a shady spot to sit back and relax.
This track is very spacious and soothing, with the right amount of different birds. Not over powering. I can't get outside quite yet with the temperatures and snow, so I have this track on and watch the birds at the feeders and the woods, and can see our water falls. The track sounds like being out back. Really wonderful!
This track is extremely 3D. With or without earphones. It is loud enough to block all outside noise and subtle enough that it is not jarring. I was disappointed in all the new tracks but the last two (this and The Astral Garden) have been amazing.
I'm laying here, listening to the city snow-removal dump trucks rumble back and forth with their loads..and *another* storm is yet on its way.. Is it spring yet? This track ran all day today and even managed to get my cat to move into the living room and chill. I'm really, really ready for this winter to be over - thanks Naturespace for rubbing it in with this amazing, spacious track.. :) Deb.
I enjoyed this today with a good quality tube amp and a speaker brand known for its imaging in a fairly quiet room. This is a remarkable new release. I don't want to sound like a suck-up at all, but really--it's a mini symphony all for a couple bucks! I love that breeze in the background. You could think of it as something to mask ambient noise, but really it's enjoyable to focus on--the way it occasionally surges (though gently.) With speakers the variety of birds fills the room or seems located throughout the room. There's even a tiny mystery here. Occasionally is that a pine cone falling in the distance or maybe a tree limb falling? A tiny knocking sound like the single tap of a distant woodpecker? I'm pushing the volume a little more than usual and enjoying the concert. I was a little hesitant to buy a non-stormy, or non-water based sound, but this is really good.
I bought this immediately but then noticed I didn't have my headphones, so I just played it of the iPhone speaker and was still amazing! It totally changed the mood of the room. But now that my headphones are in it really has taken me into a different seson, my whole body feels it. I would also like to add that the text descriptions and artwork have been awesome this year so far. Great work on the new tracks guys. Naturespace impresses me every time! The Secrets of Sunlight is magic!
Wow! Until now I have only bought the storm tracks and the evening tracks and some abstract ones, but it is so cold where I live, and I do miss summer, so this came along and I bought it. Well, even though I had expected to like it, I really wasn't expecting how dramatic of an effect it is having in my house. I actually feel happier this morning! It's like it's fooling my brain just enough to make me feel like it's warm out. Just what I needed! I plan on playing it non-stop for the rest of this miserable winter. Thank you Naturespace for all your wonderful work, it's by far the most important and useful app on my iPhone!
