El vapor se derrama a raudales y llena los valles de nubes mientras la máquina convierte el calor en movimiento, resoplando y escupiendo caballos de fuerza que avanzan despacio entre un trote y un galope. El silbato anuncia el tren a kilómetros de distancia y rebota en las paredes del valle. Estás a ocho vagones de la locomotora, lo bastante lejos como para que a veces desaparezca en las curvas, y se aprecia el movimiento serpenteante por la vía que se retuerce en la ladera. Estás en un vagón abierto, sin techo; el cielo es azul y grandes nubes esponjosas suben. Este viaje se hizo específicamente para esta grabación, con el realismo como foco. El silbato es muy fuerte, tuvimos que añadir cuatro vagones más para alejarnos lo suficiente y que fuera tolerable. Te despertará si te quedas dormido. Pero si estás despierto y buscas una experiencia casi real, El motor de nubes es una experiencia sonora holográfica increíble. El maquinista es un maestro del ferrocarril y un verdadero virtuoso del silbato, que habla con tonos expresivos, en un lenguaje parecido a una improvisación de jazz inspirada, reaccionando y jugando con los distintos espacios. Para nosotros, es actuación y viaje a la vez. Este tema puede llevarte a cualquier lugar que imagines, pero a nosotros nos dieron clase. El motor de nubes es un viaje, no un ambiente. Para un recorrido más suave y relajante, sin silbato, mejor elige su pista hermana, El fantasma.

Good I just need the volume down a bit for the whistle
Where do I begin with this track? Layer upon layer of crystal clear sound, so true to life that it gives me chills. Listen for the train as it turns around bends, thru tunnels and crosses over railroad crossings. I can feel the wind change direction as the sound does and I can feel the "bumps" as the steel wheels clickitty clak over the rail divides. The engines velocity slows and increases as it goes uphill and down. ESPECIALLY love the whistle and bell. I am a child again riding my favorite amusement park train ride. Can't wait to let my 3 yr old nephew who is a huge train enthusist listen ! He will either be terrified or will run outside to see the train ! Please use with a good pair of headphones. :)
The steam engine rides in various speeds and the whistle sounds sometimes cheerful, sometimes a little sad, and sometimes hilarious. An entertaining track, not for sleep, but for pleasure.
The preview of this track does fully not capture the feel or the sound of this amazing train ride. You can hear the train speeding up and slowing down as it chugs along the track and the whistle is only intermittent. There is a real sense of movement through space on a powerful train. Very cool track!
The sound of the engine makes me laugh, though I don't understand why this is so. I read from some online educational resources that laughing brains are more absorbent, so I listen to it before I begin my revisions. Many thanks to Naturespace for producing such a pleasant track.
