El mundo es nuevo
By Naturespace · 13 reviews ·
Relajante y positiva.
What listeners say
I love the background sounds of this track so much. After the first time listening, though, the voice is kind of annoying. I wish there were a version without the narrative.
My first guided meditation track and I think it’s great. Very peaceful and insightful. I’m going to buy more. Please don’t let other people’s religious beliefs spoil it for the rest of us. There’s enough of that in the world already.
Re: some of the comments I’m a Christian and a mental health therapist trained in using meditation and guided visualization in my practice. For those of you not familiar with some of the wording and concepts in spirituality, I can see how a few people may be hesitant about a couple of the lines. I’m here to say, This is simply a guided visualization. It’s more along the lines of centering yourself and the law of attraction. Guided visualizations can be used clinically (as in therapy) or like this one, just as a means to use your imagination, focus, relax, center. The sun IS the giver of life on our planet (it’s not referring to worship or God) it’s referring to nature. Historically throughout many cultures the water is considered feminine. The track is spiritual (which is a very broad, non-religious concept including hiking and yoga) in nature but not religious or intending to steer anyone into any certain belief system. Naturespace, I really really hope you do more of these! A whole collection! I’m sure I’d buy them all! My only qualm is I wish there were a way to stop the talking after the first loop or if you can maybe put the exact length in the description so we can set the sleep timer before it loops? I often find myself drifting off and then when she speaks again, it startles me a little.
love it. So peacefull, And relax 10/10
I love this track. It's a guided meditation that works so well with the well recorded sounds of nature. Nothing about it is jarring so it lulls me off to sleep easily. The woman's voice is soft and soothing too. I think there should definitely be more guided meditations like this on nature space .I think It lends itself well to this sort of meditation.
peaceful 6/10
Very relaxing
The preview doesn't do this track justice. I wasn't sure whether or not to purchase this track based on the preview, but I decided to take the chance, out of curiosity. It's a very relaxing track. The only thing is, I wished it was longer. It's roughly ten minutes, which is still a good length. It would be great to do more guided meditations. Perhaps 20-minute ones, as that is usually a good standard, if there is even such a thing. Perhaps do relaxation ones and ones that employ various meditation practices and whatnot. Good work, N.S.
“With every new glance— gratitude, & happiness. The world is changing & new. Everytime you blink, the world is new.” I had to take time to write a review for this track, because it simply just did not have enough raving reviews. The guided meditation is among the most beautiful, & philosophically / meditatively diverse I've ever heard. The guide helps the mind: 1) Connect with the natural law of mutually-conditioned co-arising— intermittently throughout with nature, of Mother Earth and Father Sun; without the warmth & energies of both, we would cease to be in minutes… 2) Release, Let Go, & Uncondition… & 3) Glimpse Insight into the operating properties of the universe's basic structure— that is, an observer (consciousness) & the world (name & form) turn-in-upon eachother; arise together as experience, neither the cause of the other. “Weightless. Free. Unbound.” As an experienced meditator, it's very enjoyable; as it mixes some insight with a lot of pleasant perception. (& Just as a reference to the previous comment, the ideas explored here do have a few lines that lend themselves towards solipsism— but having done serious study of canonical Buddhism & being a Dharma practitioner [the Buddha expressly defines those types of view as a wrong view] I totally understand how you could see the track as presupposing that world-view. Though 99.99% of it offers some truly beautiful glimpses of wisdom, that needn't at all require assuming that fixed view.)
Interesting
Like every NatureSpace product I have yet experienced, the quality of this track is very high, however this track is definitely not for me. The poetic narration is well delivered, but I don't personally identify with it. I have some trouble making sense of it. It appears to have elements of nature worship (sun worship?) and also perhaps of solipsism (the idea that reality comes only from your own mind). I love the beauty of creation but I worship the Creator so the philosophy / metaphysics described here do not resonate with me.
Naturespace comment: Regarding the comments about sun worship... the narrative is not suggesting sun worship, it simply makes mention of a time when people did. It does not advocate for a particular religious or philosophical belief set. It is about having a new perspective. It is about seeing the world in the present, unencumbered by the past. This is not a religious idea, it's a human one. Regarding solipsism, "You are the center" is not the same thing as "You are the Creator". It is simply stating that you are responsible for how you see the world. "You are an integral part of your surroundings" is completely antithetical to the idea of solipsism, which suggests that only your mind really exists. "All things extend from your awareness" is in reference to the imagination, which is what Naturespace is all about; to stimulate the imagination.
Awesome! I am beginning meditation, this is a great way to relax. I love it! I can see me listening to it while kids are making tons of noise. This is the best one. I though thunder god was awesome! I love that you keep outdoing yourself.
