Il vapore si riversa copioso e riempie le valli di nuvole mentre la locomotiva trasforma il calore in movimento, sprigionando cavalli vapore che avanzano lenti, tra trotto e galoppo. Il fischio annuncia il treno per chilometri e rimbalza contro le pareti della valle. Sei a otto carrozze dalla locomotiva, abbastanza lontano perché a tratti scompaia nelle curve, e se ne percepisce il movimento serpentino lungo i binari tortuosi sul fianco della montagna. Sei in una carrozza aperta, senza tetto, e il cielo è blu, con grandi nuvole gonfie che salgono. Questo viaggio è stato fatto apposta per questa registrazione, con il realismo come priorità. Il fischio è molto forte, abbiamo dovuto aggiungere altre quattro carrozze per allontanarci abbastanza da renderlo sopportabile. Ti sveglierà se ti addormenti. Ma se sei sveglio e cerchi un po’ di realtà virtuale, Il Motore delle Nuvole è un’esperienza audio olografica straordinaria. Il macchinista è un maestro della ferrovia e un vero virtuoso del fischio, che parla in toni espressivi, in un linguaggio simile a un’improvvisazione jazz ispirata, reagendo agli spazi e dialogando con essi. Per noi è tanto una performance quanto un viaggio. Questa traccia può portarti ovunque tu immagini, ma noi abbiamo preso una bella lezione. Il Motore delle Nuvole è un viaggio, non un ambiente. Per un percorso più morbido e rilassante, senza il fischio, passa alla traccia sorella, Il Fantasma.

Good I just need the volume down a bit for the whistle
Where do I begin with this track? Layer upon layer of crystal clear sound, so true to life that it gives me chills. Listen for the train as it turns around bends, thru tunnels and crosses over railroad crossings. I can feel the wind change direction as the sound does and I can feel the "bumps" as the steel wheels clickitty clak over the rail divides. The engines velocity slows and increases as it goes uphill and down. ESPECIALLY love the whistle and bell. I am a child again riding my favorite amusement park train ride. Can't wait to let my 3 yr old nephew who is a huge train enthusist listen ! He will either be terrified or will run outside to see the train ! Please use with a good pair of headphones. :)
The steam engine rides in various speeds and the whistle sounds sometimes cheerful, sometimes a little sad, and sometimes hilarious. An entertaining track, not for sleep, but for pleasure.
The preview of this track does fully not capture the feel or the sound of this amazing train ride. You can hear the train speeding up and slowing down as it chugs along the track and the whistle is only intermittent. There is a real sense of movement through space on a powerful train. Very cool track!
The sound of the engine makes me laugh, though I don't understand why this is so. I read from some online educational resources that laughing brains are more absorbent, so I listen to it before I begin my revisions. Many thanks to Naturespace for producing such a pleasant track.
