The eastern shoreline of Iceland stretches in both directions as far as the eye can see, the endless black sand shimmering beneath the rich colors of sunset. Gale-force winds push steadily onto the beach with amazing strength, creating massive waves in the raging sea, thrashing upon the land that arose from the epic battles between volcanos and glaciers. This track was recorded a fair distance from the shore, allowing the width of the sonic landscape to be revealed. The frostbite-inducing wind is intense, cold, and trying to push you over

Another amazing track from Naturespace! The sound is very expansive and you get the sense of a vast, open, uninhabited space. Iceland is at the top of my bucket list. Listening to this helps me to imagine being there. You can almost hear the waves pulling away from the black sands and feel the power of the cold wind and ocean. It's beautiful.
Like the similar "Cumulus Aquae" track, this is an excellent noise blocker. A pleasant, steady sound of wind and surf. I can listen for a long time and not get tired of it, and it doesn't need to be very loud to block out the neighbors. I've used Naturespace's thunderstorms, the wind tracks, and the waterfall for noise-blocking, but there's something about these windy ocean scenes that makes them work like magic.
