Transcendence

Rocky Mountain National Park, 2pm, late June. The blue sky reigns majestic over the land, her cool breath carrying notes of pine and cedar into the valley. The ancient sentinels lie down, their peaks cutting into the clouds, signaling the eternal warning that this is sacred land. The idyllic scene plays out with subtle variation in soft shifts between windy and calm. The aviators, keepers of the land, sing in the language of heaven as the woodpeckers conduct the orchestra of the valley. Sublime and embracing, evoking thoughts of eternity and childhood, this track perfectly re-creates not only the sound of an afternoon in Rocky Mountain National Park, but the emotion of actually being there. Birdsong is bright and active without being distracting, and you can sense the wind approaching from many miles away as it gently arrives to swirl above you. Under good headphones it is beyond immersive, and can create a truly transcendent experience.
What listeners say
Transcendence was the second forest track that I purchased. It is my second favorite track on my list of forest tracks. My first being the ascendancy of the redwoods. This is a great title for this track. This is truly a transcendent experience. I use this for meditation, or when I need to escape from everything, this is a beautiful, wonderful, and magical experience.
I downloaded tho whole collection and this is the first one I am listening and gosh it’s amazing the birds the wind everything is awesome. Sometimes you even hear a woodpecker. Well done 8/10
Lovely soft natural background, super calming.... and then BIRDS, very close and very loud. Base this one on whether you are looking for a track with birds or not so much.
This is one of my favorite tracks. A great balance of different elements.
Transcendence is a fresh track, great for anyone who enjoys meditative, airy spaces. The forest is distinctively open and sunny, with cool breezes and light birdsong. Very reminiscent of hiking in the Rockies. I can imagine sitting under the swaying shadow of an aspen, eating a packed lunch and enjoying the view. My favorite part is the rata-tat-tat-tat of a woodpecker high in a nearby tree, which I only noticed a couple times. I was hoping for several more instances of woodpeckers due to the mention of them in the description, but that's a small nitpick. As with the majority of Naturespace recordings, the preview of this track is a good indication of what you'll get... a beautiful space for your mind to relax.
Although this track is in the Afternoons category, I still like to use this in the Transitions Timer as my wake sound. It is simply breath taking listening to the chipper, soft bird song and woodpeckers high above in the trees. At times, bird song gets closer as they frolic nearby. The gentle breezes high above in the trees gives you a sense of calmness and tranquility. The space sounds vast, wide and very open, while you can get a sense of the tall trees. Really like this one.
I can say having camped and visited in this area, this soundscape is very authentic. Listeners might make the mistake of playing this one too quietly. The sound of the wind rushing around you is not a quiet sound. On a windy day the sound is quite amplified. Listening to these on a pair of Audeze LCD-2 headphones. The jump in realism from a simple closed set to an open headphone like the LCD2 or Sennheiser HD650 is similar to the difference between 2D and 3D.
I live just 1/2 an hour from Rocky Mountain National Park & so this track is one of my favorites. When I can't get there because of time, work, or the weather, I can listen to this track & all of my senses, mind, soul, spirit & brain take me right there. Right where this track sounds like it was taken. Idk if you actually go to the place that you say the recording is from. I think you probably do, but if you don't. You got this one right, all the way down to the light wind swirling above. If you did go there to record the track, & the photo is of the place you were at. I know exactly where you were. My mind always takes me to that exact spot when I listen to this track. It's amazing & I'm glad that you have it available!!! Great Job!!!!
good sound 7/10
Large sense of space, reminds me of being on the Cub Lake trail, lying back in the shade and munching on gorp. The birdsong gives this track a lot of depth, while the winds in the trees gives the listener a sense of waves on a beach. Can almost hear the aspen leaves in the breeze. Great job capturing a lazy afternoon in a beautiful national park! Minor nitpick - the image for the track looks to me more like somewhere around the Blacktail Ponds area in GTNP instead of somewhere in RMNP. Doesn't detract from the quality of the track, however.
The best one so far
Fabulous! Relaxing! Great way to start your day when the real sounds are unavailable.
I used to live in Colorado, about 45 minutes from the park. I find this track very comforting because it reminds me so much of home. It is a very accurate ambience for the area and my favorite daytime track.
What Night Aria did for the evening this track does for a warm afternoon in the summer. The birds seem to come so close you must be invisible to them. Wind, wildlife and a great space meld together to create a wonderful afternoon.
Beautiful, soft, relaxing track with cheerful medodic bird songs being carried away in the breeze that feels like its enveloping you. It reminds me of a sunny spring day as the trees leaves rustle with the breeze. Perfect to listen to to relax and remind me of spring during the dreary winter months.
Amazing track, and one of the most relaxing yet. The perfect balance of wind, wildlife and space, with none overpowering the scene. Sounds just like the image portrays!
Relaxing and calming. This track is excellent for meditation and studies. Thank you very much for designing such a beautiful track.
I feel like I'm standing in a great field, surrounded by nothing but lush green grass, the pale blue sky and a cool summer breeze. The name truly captures the essence of the track. This is a soft track, and the calls of the birds really give a sense of the vastness of the space.
The title says it all. Tracks are only getting better guys. Appreciate your work, as always.
This track is one of the most relaxing I own. It is the perfect balance between wind and bird song. There is a definite daytime feel, but it never fails to make me sleepy. it reminds me of relaxing in a hammock, in the shade, at our old summer cabin. I'm sure I will be using it to lull me to sleep for many nights to come
