Tears of Asgard

Asgard - Home of the gods. It was foretold through a prophecy given to Odin that the era of the gods would end in a final battle known as Ragnarok. Before this, fallen warriors would go to Valhalla and prepare to defend Odin and the others. Ultimately though, Thor, Odin, Loki and most other gods were killed. Tears of Asgard is all rain, no thunder. This rain is unique because it is raining into a freshwater lake. The water is very cold. Soft, delicate, and pleasant, it has a nice blend of close, mid, and far away sound, creating a nice holographic immersion.
What listeners say
This track is so relaxing. Perfect for listening to while going to sleep or just when you want to feel calmer.
I was in search for a quiet rain track which resembled a small babbling brook, or some body of water with a trickling sound effect, and "Tears of Asgard" fit the bill. The soft cricket song, soft raindrops popping on the leaves, and the trickling sound of water makes this a very relaxing track. When I want to slow down the day and relax with minimal noise, this is the "go to" track. I think everyone who is into rain tracks should get this one. This gives a great spa-like ambiance to any backdrop.
Been on this app for about 3 years...most relaxing track I've found
If you like the free track Rain into Water, you will like this one as a natural alternative. A very gentle rain falling on a still lake. A steady trill of crickets is heard in the background, but they're much less prominent than in Rain into Water. If you listen very closely you can occasionally hear birds as well, but its so subtle you really have to be paying attention. This track has moderately good noise blocking quality, but not as much so as Camping in the Rain or Eternal Reign.
Warning: Naturespace is addictive! I need natural sounds to fall asleep to, especially since I travel for my job quite often. I started off with several of the running water, rain storm tracks and loved them all. Then I stumbled upon Tears of Asgard. It has become the most relaxing for me yet. Another reviewer commented about it sounding less like rain and more simply like soft water sounds. So gentle and tranquil. My fav!
Absolutely perfect! This should have been called rain into water and the track rain into water should have been called tears of Asgard! IMHO. I recommend NatureSpace to every one and after I play any track for people, they can't believe the purity and high quality of natural sound that this company is committed to AND delivers!!
Just the sound of sweet, soft water dripping quietly into water. Because it is such a gentle sound it is very easy to relax or fall asleep to. I use this one often.
This is definitely my favorite track. Most comforting sounds that helps me to fall asleep
An excellent track to play on your earphones while reading. It's loud enough to drown out the background but subtle enough to not distract you from your favourite book. Enjoy! Naturespace, keep up the excellent work and please keep the tracks coming :)
Tears of Asgard is the sixth and final track in the Thundergod series. It is all rain, no thunder. This rain is unique because it is raining into a fresh water lake. The water is very cold. It uses some of the same elements from the free track, Rain Into Water, but doesn't have any of the tonality present; it is pure natural sound. Soft, delicate, and pleasant, it has a nice blend of close, mid, and far away sound, creating a nice holographic immersion.
My absolute favorite! So relaxing and simple, but soothing to frayed nerves. The gentle sounds like this are the best for going to sleep and working.
This is a very simple track consisting of rain on water. The beautiful sound of a gentle rain on a lake is ideal for sleeping and relaxing. For anyone that loves rain tracks, this is a must to add to your collection.
A very soft gentle rain falling into water, while bugs drone on. It's not a heavy rainfall and sounds a lot like a fountain. The reviews and description are spot on in their description, I wish their was more to it myself.
This calming track sounds like water dripping into a puddle at the bottom of a small waterfall, or water gently splasing in an indoor/outdoor fountain. The visual is that of a peaceful and secluded hideaway.
Slow soft rain falls into a lake. No wind, thunder or insects only rain. Good track to sleep to.
This is a very gentle rain. It sounds like a body of water is present. Maybe a small creek or lake is receiving the raindrops? This track is more like the "sound of water" than it is the "sound of rain". I like it.
