Photosynthesis

By Naturespace · 12 reviews ·

Sunlight. The essential and life giving wind of the nearest star bathes the earth in it’s luminous nutrition. The photons arrive as both particle and wave, moving at the speed limit of the universe. The trees grow as efficient collectors, immersed in an ocean of light. Energy is consumed and transformed into the physical, rendering endless variations of wonderful things like apples and strawberries and oak trees. Even the people convert the nectar of the gods into vitamins. But the people, unlike the apples, are very busy and worry a lot, so it is easy for them to forget this daily miracle. But one simply needs to look up and around to be reminded of the daily blessing of the sun. Thankfulness is most appropriate. Cold water flows gently through the orchard as crickets and light birdsong illuminates the space. Soothing, pleasant and spacious on both headphones and speakers alike.

This definitely sounds like an orchard on a hot day! I can almost smell the leafy trees. The stream nearby gives a cooling effect to this track. Photosynthesis is full of summery insect life. The daytime crickets are not too loud but they're a primary sound along with the water. I generally listen to this while I'm reading, or if I just want to relax in the sun on my balcony.

Crickets, cicada's and a babbling brook. This track could do equally well for day or not really. The bird calls are so minor and faint you wouldn't notice them. A nice basic track but it's not one I use often, although I may well try it for sleeping now.

I really enjoy this quiet afternoon track. This may be the best track so far featuring daytime crickets, which easily lull you into contemplation or maybe a nap if you prefer. It could be an orchard or an open, wooded meadow. An unobtrusive, babbling brook provides a natural white noise mid ground while distant birds suggest wide open space. A quiet and peaceful place that still features s lot of auditory interest.

This is a great new, fresh track. I love the sound of the rushing water, the gentle cricket song, and the occasional bird chatter. Very relaxing. Under headphones, I am transported to a stream-side space with gentle breezes at dusk. Over speakers, I am transported to a morning walk in the woods along a rushing stream on my left and some water bubbling and gurgling on my right, perhaps over the rocks. The air is cool and fresh and I can feel the sun. Since crickets and birds can be heard any time of day, you can be transported to a morning, afternoon, or early evening scene. Nice track.
