Newton Under Tree

“Why do I not simply float away? Clearly, I am held here by more than fascination alone.” An idyllic afternoon ambience of a gentle stream and lovely birdsong is braided and intertwined with a musical and rhythmic tonality that is excellent for creating a positive mindset while you enjoy your Apple. A great catalyst for ideas and supporting a focused perspective. Works well on both speakers and headphones. Also good for quieting a song that is stuck in your head.

I have the whole catalogue, and this is my go-to track. It does exactly what it says and as a creative writer, it’s my secret weapon. I can listen to it for hours on end and find it puts me in a imaginative , productive state.

This is my go-to track for studying. I enjoy most of the abstract tracks, but this is one of my favorites along with Sedona. The tonalities in Newton Under Tree are bright and happy, stimulating positive thoughts. If you study late at night like I do, this track will wake you right up so you can focus on your tasks. I also use this track when I'm feeling uneasy. I recommend this track to anyone who experiences anxiety or depression, simply because it is very positive.

Very nice :)

I am writing this because I agree with the other reviewers in regards to that one particular bird whose call takes away from the absolute beauty of this track. Please note that the birds in the background are beautiful, it is just this one particular birds high pitched call which dominates the entire track ultimately ruining the ambience. (Note to Naturespace - as previously advised in your comments to the other reviewers, I have set the volume to the absolute minimum to no avail. I am hoping that the Naturespace staff can perhaps review the track?).

This is an intensely tranquil track for me. I play it in my office at work (I have speakers in every corner) very softly. It is fantastic for dispelling negative thought patterns and promotes a feeling of harmony during meetings. At home, I listen to this on headphones if I need to relax and find creative solutions to problems. I like the depth of the soundscape. You can easily get lost in it.

The water and music are very relaxing, but there is one bird call that is quite loud and keeps me from relaxing. I find myself diving for the iPad after just a minute or two to shut it off. (Naturespace comment: try listening quieter, set the volume so that the bird is not too loud, and then try it. The bird is only too loud if your volume is too high. This can happen if you expect a full-on music experience, but it was not made that way. It is a soft, gentle ambience and listening too loud contorts everything, making soft sounds annoying.)

DID I MENTION IM N LOVE WITH THE APP IF SO LET ME MAKE THIS CLEAR IM IN LOVE WITH IT This is one of the best sounds yet its relaxing and I can get my homework done without distracting birds as in other track animals distract me sometimes but this track with the birds doesn't

The description nails it. Definitelt effective at creating a positive feel, and for helping you focus. I listen to it when I have to do work around the house, or sit down and write a paper; and sometimes read an engaging book. It's perfect for a to-do kindof setting.

A good track... I could do without the ear-piercing birds though. Wish this track were avaible without the loud shrieking. ------ (Naturespace comment: You are listening too loud, the birds are only piercing if the overall volume exceeds what was actually occurring a the time.)

★★★★★

Nice mix of birds chirping, a stream, and some soothing trippy music. I put this track on when there's to much noise at work and it let's me easily focus on tasks.

The music is beautiful. This track is great for studying and reading.

My current (2012) all time favorite and use for relaxing, sleep and enjoyment.

This is an interesting track. There is a soothing synth groove track running in a hypnotic trance like movements. It does help to clear out your thoughts as you drift along the pattern. The mood of the track puts you in a state as if you are trying to figure something out and making an intellectual connection, uncovering something like a forensic scientist. There is a sense of focus in this track. A consistent rhythm and pattern of bird chirping helps create that hypnotic cycle. It disappears into your unconscious as soon as you focus your mind on something. The sound of river running also becomes barely noticeable. Steady river flow helps your mind reach a state of calmness - like when you are meditating. I would recommend combining it with a soothing cup of green tea (L-Theanine) for that great alpha state.

I'm not a big fan of this track. The music sounds weird and kind of creepy to me. I would love this track if they took the music out.

The only category that has tracks with tonalities is here, in the Abstract category. Sci-Fi is also obviously not pure natural sound, but sound design. All other categories are tonality free, and their natural purity is unaltered and pristine. The entirety of the Naturespace catalog is pure natural sound, with the exception of the Abstract and Sci-fi categories.

This is my very favorite one! Just get it because you will not be sorry!

★★★★★

Just as advertised. Helps you to focus if that's what you feel like doing, excellent at quieting that persistent repetitive pop song that won't go away. Love it.

This track seems more active and thoughtful to me than meditative, so perhaps the name is fitting. It features running water and singing birds, not unlike the Zen Riverbell track. However, a synthetic melody drifts through the trees around you. It’s ambient and peaceful, but somewhat energetic at the same time. I like this track for writing or doing other things that require an active but focused mind.

A huge disappointment. What spoiled it for me was the musing bundle of notes around the key of C. I was dying for it to modulate and become interesting, but it just served as an irritant. The 'fiotsteos' sounded to me like someone practising the digeridoo.

★★★★★

One of my favorite abstract sounds. It does exactly as it says for me. Quiets the song stuck in my head. For days there has been a series of songs in my head. As I listen now they are silenced. Also it's quite relaxing and I can feel myself just relaxing to the sounds of the water, the birds that chirp and the tonalities.

I can never get enough of Newton Under Tree. It puts me in the perfect place...for HOURS. It has a gentle pulse with lovely birds in the distance. I listen under headphones while I type away...Naturespace really helps me focus. Thank you!!

This a wonderful and lasting favorite! Relaxing and peaceful, certainly not boring. The music is dreamy as it shifts and hums along with the sound of the stream while the bright bird song and wind hovers above and all around. Feels like an early afternoon in gorgeous weather - like a 70* day in early May. Sounds of footsteps in the underbrush on the right side occasionally walk beside your sitting spot and move past you. This reminds me of something I would hear on Hearts of Space (www.hos.com). Very dream-like in a rhythmic, flowing way. Great for relaxation, meditation, creative brain jaunts, for writing to, drawing/sketching, etc. This is a great track for anyone who loves ambient music. I only wish I had bought it earlier. Sounds wonderful on both speakers and earbuds. This is my happy place.
