Low Sodium

By Naturespace · 9 reviews ·

The clean, clear freshwater waves of Lake Michigan's northwest shore. Strong left-to-right waves enter the bay and roll across a shoreline made entirely of smooth stones. The absence of fizz due to a lack of saline is replaced by a gentle bubbling as the water quickly seeps between the rocks. The water is cold. Nice on a hot day like today.

Can you change the title to no sodium? The Great Lakes are known as being unsalted and Lake Superior is the 3rd largest body of FRESH water. Thank you. I love this sound as I lived my whole life in 5 minutes from Lake Michigan in Northwest Michigan.

I was not sure about this one, so I read the reviews. I must say, I am glad I grabbed this one. I also took one of the reviewer's suggestions and switched my headphones around. This makes the waves go from left to right to right to left. Now I am going to try this with all my NatureSpace tracks. The waves in this track are very soothing, each wave being unique. Love it!

Simple, pleasant, relaxing, unlike "infinite shoreline," which scares the bejesus out of me (Naturespace comment... Because you are listening too loud. Infinite shoreline is gentle unless you crank it.). This one's a winner.

Super track! I grew up around the Great Lakes, so the sound of waves tumbling onto shore is very deeply embedded in my memory. This module transports me instantly. I can almost smell the water! In fact, I may go put on some sunscreen and catch a few rays! This track has made it into my top ten (and I own a LOT of 'em). Perfect for escaping into a summery experience.

This is a great track. Very clear and a wonderful left to right movement of the waves (or right to left if you switch the ear buds). I also discovered something fun about this track last night. If you lie down on your side, such as someone would do if sleeping on his/her side, and have the left ear bud in the "up facing" ear - then the sound is really amazing. Volume should be up a little higher than normal, room dark, eyes closed, and sound paints an amazing picture of the water avalanching down on top of you. It is really quite vivid, fun, and maybe even a little frightening. Enjoy!

Being from Michigan, I had to try this one. I'm glad I did since its a great track that holds its own against any ocean track. The waves are big, but very watery. The lack of fizzy quality means you can actually hear the "roll" of the water in the waves; something I didn't really think a recording could capture. There is a strong sense of motion as the waves roll in from right to left, splashing around your legs as you wade out into the cold; refreshing water. This is one of the most unique of the wave sounds, and a must have for any wave lover.

Hi Folks - I gotta tell you, this track makes a splash - and it is a good one. The sound here is CRYSTAL clear, and how NS got the mic right under the crash of these waves in beyond me. Magic. I love this track. Sounds FANTASTIC on buds or phones. Nice!

Low Sodium has special meaning to me as my family is from Michigan and vacations at the lakes. Just as the description says, there isn't that fizzy sound you hear in salt water. It is a very "watery" sound so to speak. I know that sounds silly but the waves sound more like what a river would sound like if there was wave turbulence.
