Selfoss ist eine gewaltige, geschwungene Wasserwand, die in die sagenhafte Jökulsá á Fjöllum stürzt, auf ihrem Weg zum fernen Öxarfjörður, wo sie sich mit dem Nordpolarmeer vereint. Der Wind fegt über die Fälle hinweg und treibt den Atem des Flusses himmelwärts. Karge, schwarze Klippen rahmen kühn die breite Fallkante, während das tosende Wasser in den Fluss darunter fällt. Diese Aufnahme entstand aus mittlerer Entfernung, so hört man mehr Details im Wasser. Am Fuß von Selfoss ist das Wasser stark in Bewegung, es wirbelt mit großer Kraft, und man hört es. Selfoss pulsiert und pocht vor Energie und bringt eine feine, natürliche Variation in ein sonst gleichmäßiges Weißrauschen.

Very similar to dettifoss but gentler. From the samples I thought dettifloss would be the more gentle sound, but after purchasing both, this one is definitely a bit softer of a sound.
