Morgenchor auf Hawaii

By Naturespace · 9 reviews ·

6 Uhr, 21 Grad.

One of my favorites. It also takes me back to Bali and other jungles where the same doves and roosters roam. I just can’t get enough

Literally sounds like the Kihei side of Maui at day break. Perfect for de-stressing after 12 hours on the job.

It is the most incredible experience ever! I go to Hawaii every year and relish the peace I enjoy there. This track transports me to the North Shore of Kauai in a second. Stress melts away instantly. It is truly healing for me.

I wanted something that sounded like morning in Hawaii and this is it. I grew up there and these familiar bird calls remind me of home. I will say that I don't necessarily find this one relaxing. It's more the track I switch to when I first wake up but want to doze a bit. I doubt I will ever sleep to it, but its good to wake up to, or to meditate to.

Wonderrul atmosphere, this! I can practically feel the warm Hawaiian wind and smell the salt air! This is one of my favorites. I bought the complete set of new releases and everyone of 'em is terrific. Well done, guys!

I was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii and lived there until I was 22 years old. After college I moved to Los Angeles. I never realized all the little things about Hawaii that I would miss, including something as simple as the sound of birds in the morning... This track is as authentic as it comes and takes me back to waking up in Manoa Valley with the birds singing in the back ground.

Completely authentic. When I first listened to this wonderful recording, it brought me back to my very first visit to Hawaii. I remember laying on the beach and listening to all of these glorious sounds and easing into a relaxed and comfortable state of mind. Listening to this recording i can feel the warm sun and gentle careeses of the trade winds. This is one of my favorite recordings. Thank you Naturespace for capturing and preserving one of my most cherished memories.

Hawaiian morning chorus is definitely one of my favorites! It takes me to a place I can't just get up and go to. You can really tell you are in Hawaii! The tropical birds are amazing. One will be closer and to your right and several others could be farther off on your left. Far away in the distance you can hear the faint call of a rooster. You can even hear a fly go by. It didn't go in my ear but you could tell it was close. The forest insects can also be heard but aren't too loud as the birds take the show.

The Naturespace description is cute, clever, and pretty accurate! About all I can add is that is it comparable to many of the other bird tracks--you can use "Daybreak Songbirds" as a reference to whether or not you might like it. The addition of a rooster crowing on this one is what really separates it from the other bird tracks, although the rooster is off a bit in the distance and only crows occasionally during the track. He's a subtle rooster! What is not so subtle is the continuous calling of doves. Nice mix of bird calls in the near, middle and backgrounds. Not nearly as raucous as "Avian Dreams", but definitely an active track with continuous bird calls. Track also has a moderately loud continuous sound of an insect buzzing in the trees. My Impressions. I really wanted to love this track. It was in the first group of tracks that I purchased. I wanted to be reminded of being in one of my favorite places in the world. Maui. And this track does succeed at that on some level. What kills it for me to create a great mood to listen to in the background is the incessant calling of the dove, who appears to be sitting right next to the microphone to your immediate right. It's not the same pleasant soft cooing of the dove, also heard to the right, throughout the "Daybreak Songbirds" track. No...this dove is desperately calling for a mate, and he never lets up! Without his calls I would love this track. It's OK on speakers, but over headphones his calling pulls all my focus and I can't enjoy the other birds including the cool rooster. But that's just me. Take what I've said into consideration only for what you might like, or dislike, about the track.
