What listeners say
Wonderful app! Loved it .
This track definitely reminds me of an Autumn day in the country! There is a lot going on here, but very much captures a turbulent day. You can hear a bubbling creek nearby; Strong, gusty winds rustle leaves and brush around you; Thunder rumbles overhead; Birds call in the distance; Flying insects whiz by; Tall grass rustles in the wind; Crickets chime in intermittently; ... Just a wonderful, active track. Environment sounds vast and open. When the wind blows, I can feel the chill in the air. I like listening to this one during the afternoons. Also great for drowning out background noise.
Great track
Best nature space track ever!!! If I could only have one nature space track, this would be it! It is also great for masking ambient noise.
I really like this track. It has a huge sort of environment. I like the occasional thunder and the constant but not over powering sound of running water. I use these tracks for reading and for resting. I gotta tell you tho, I could have used more thunder (cowbell).
This is another stunning track by NatureSpace. Another one of the best, testifying to the fact that the "New This Week" tracks represent the very best work NatureSpace has done. This one can be listened to loud or soft (and anywhere in between) and your experience will change depending on how loud you listen. Listening loud puts you right in the middle of pre-storm winds that rip around you as you wait for the storm to reach you. Listen soft and the winds become lighter (though crisp) and the storm distant and no longer imminent. The track has enough variety that you won't get bored listening to it over a long period of time. It is another triumph. My only criticism: I definitely prefer the NatureSpace textual descriptions when they do not get metaphorical and poetic finding that this complicates my ability to just visualize the scene.
I'm gonna go ahead and recommend to anyone looking to buy their first track— make it this one. I may say it about a lot of tracks, but this one comes close to my current favorite. The day environment & seasonal tones, in addition to the thunder heard (so perfectly at distance in the background) is a combination that hasn't been done quite like this in previous tracks. Which happens to create a subtle blend of some of my favorite natural qualities. Best of all.. It sounds as though the moment was patiently waited for— or, in other words, a weather/nature combo. you'd only normally experience once a year… once every other. Autumn, by a stream in the woods, with remnants of Spring in the air; as a thunderstorm looms in the distance.
This is an event for the soul. You are in the midst of an unfolding weather event not unlike taking a day hike to a high mountain valley. Like the Redwoods track you are right there--part of the moment.
This is my new favorite track. It reminds me of relaxing in the woods when I was a kid. Thank you for this. It is perfect and exactly what I was looking for.
I've loved Naturespace since the first free tracks, and with each new series of recordings they raise the bar. In the latest editions, they've truly perfected their art. This isn't a rain track, but rather the most complete immersive environment yet, in which thunder is merely one vivid part. You're at the banks of a creek running through a mountain valley. The wildlife is active and varied, but the whole scene has a subdued tone as if all can feel the tension in the air. The wind raises as the storm approaches, and you can hear it coming through the tops of the pines a long way up the slope. Finally it rattles the dry brush along the stream bank. All the while deep rolls if thunder approach. Incredible!
A very 3d environment with the winds above and the creek at your feet, animals scurry in the underbrush, crows caw and tree limbs creak and rub above, the occasional bug buzzes by, a few crickets sing and a hawk (?) is heard in the distance. Thunder rumbles, surprisingly close...time to get off your rock in the creek and head back to camp! While I have to admit that I was hoping for a new rain track, maybe with distant thunder, this track is so complex, and combines 2 of my other favorites (creek sounds and wind) that it may become my new go to for meditation! Thanks Naturespace! You've done it again!
