WOW! A great into for anyone just getting acquainted with Naturespace! It ia a panorama of what Naturespace is ALL about in a large nutshell..... A little wind here, a little creek eddy there, & nature, in the purest sense, everywhere! I love how the panorama, softly & seemlessly, shifts from open fields of wild flowers of bee & other insects with a warm, mild breeze to a forest line of more blustery winds, tickling, then shaking the leaves of the trees above to a beautiful pond, spattered with the croaking of it's many frogs, sounds of the birds & other habitate along the greenery! You can DRIFT away in this aural scene very quickly.... I love the sutleness of the wind upon the water, just enough to hear the gentle waves rippling & flowing just enough to kiss the ponds, small, rocky bank. This is a great "overall picture" of what Naturespace does so well! Takes you away from the hustle & bustle of the rat race, into a beautifully lushish atmosphere of nature, leaving you captured be it's natural ambience enough to drift off in this, often forgotten, place of childhood/yesteryear! It is hard to actually put into words.... Just try it, with some descent audio equipment and/or headphones! You WILL NOT be sorry or EVER go back to anything else for peace, relaxation, & reminiscence! They have SET THE BAR for quality & variety in this genre of audio, hands down!
I feel like this is a decent track that isn't well described. I can't get a good feel for the location or time of day or year. It's obviously set in a wide meadow with wind in the grasses. The meadow doesn't seem to have edges; it goes on forever. No forests on the edges or anything. It's clearly not spring. It could be late summer or fall. There are birds calling. Not singing. And crickets. It might be late afternoon, when the winds pick up. But before the birds begin their evening song. Or it could be dusk, with birds calling quietly to each other as they settle in to sleep. I think I'd like this track a lot for very gently setting a mood, if I could say it was one or the other. You need a quiet place to listen. This track is so quiet.
This track is fantastic! From the waves of the river to the wind that sounds like behind me, the odd critters talking... The best track I've bought yet. Thank you to the crew that put the work into it. For those who listen these, this track has a subtle hint in it, how spacious that it feels some times, and some times walking through a little rain. It is long, so be patient, it'll be worth the wait. =^_^= -Foxlink
good 6/10
One of my favorite day time tracks along with Summer Mountain Valley. The lul of the insects in each of these tracks is hypnotic, I find myself breathing slower and entering into a very relaxed day dream state just by playing them. To compare this to Summer Mountain Valley is like a steady gentle rain vs being immersed in a downpour. Both tracks are great played right out of the iphone.
This is a lovely track to sleep with or simply relax. I specifically look for ones I can use when going to bed as I have tinnitus and don't want to hear the ringing in my ears. A nice, long track with variety that allows me to drift off to a peaceful place. Thanks!
This is SlowSound! Put your shoes off, close your eyes and listen. Maybe you find yourself on the egde of a moor on a late afternoon. A gentle breeze, slightly dynamic, occasionally frogs and bird sounds. A fine track, very relaxing! Thanks for this free track (had a visitors pass).
Naturespace made a very classy move by gifting us (those who had acquired the now retired visitors pass) this app. This gift speaks well of the company and shows their dedication to their highly loyal customer base. Not only that, but this track is very good. It is also highly unusual. The descriptive text challenges the listener to lower the volume to the lowest possible level where the delicate detail can still be perceived. These instructions are right on the money. Of course, the ambient noise of your actual location will impact the volume level you adjust to, but after listening at one level, challenge yourself to lower it further. Of the more recent NatureSpace releases, this would not be my first pick for a newcomer (instead consider Equinox or River Swim) but for those of us who have compiled something of a collection - this is a welcome addition.
This is an amazing track that really conveys the sense of a spacious natural meadow. It feels like late afternoon toward sunset, and somewhere the meadow leads down into a shallow marsh or pond. The frogs, crickets, and perfectly ambient birds work together to create an aural environment that is both vast and pristine, while at the same time feeling accessible and intimate. It reminds me of a quiet Midwestern summer in an place that is rural but not agricultural. That's what I picture anyway. Instant favorite.
