I almost love this one. There’s a little bird who’s chirp is a little too high pitched and after a while I wish I could shoo it to a different tree. Just a little farther away. On the bright side, I am loving the sound of the running water. Most of the running water ones make me have to pee 😂 but this one doesn’t do that. I also like the subtlety of the other insects and birds in the environment. I use this sound to wake me up in the morning. As soon as I hear that bird IM UP! Lol. That being said, I don’t like bird sounds so if you don’t mind birds, especially high pitched birds (almost like a baby bird) then you will love this one.

Absolutely lovely. I've owned this track for several years but I've never really taken the time to get to know it. Now that I have, it's one of my favorite tracks. The sound of the water and the soft birdsong really does it for me. The birds are not overbearing, so it never gets repetitive. I was using it today to sit in the sunlight and read. There is construction going on in my area, and this space provides just enough white noise to cover up the sound of trucks and beeping. In fact, that's why I really started using this track again. Amazing! It's perfect for both concentrating and creative visualization, taking me back to childhood fly fishing along the St. Joe River in Idaho. I'm so glad I took the time to pay attention to Idyllica Tremens. If you're looking for a pleasant, noise-masking track for reading, this is the one! P.S. I just noticed that the description of Idyllica Tremens states that this track is not great at noise-masking, which makes me think that I may be listening to this track at a higher volume than intended. However, this track is not unpleasant at moderate volumes. Always start listening at a lower level and then raise the volume until the track sounds realistic. Every track has a different sweet spot. For noise-masking with Idyllica Tremens, I listen to this at the highest level within the "golden zone."

Very soothing. Sounds a lot like Mare Tranquillitatis but instead of waves it is a bubbling creek.

I love the sound of a babbling brook. Although the write-up about this track says a river is 40-feet away, the river sounds close and powerful to me, almost angry, as it overpowers this tranquil place. Even at a low volume, the powerful river seems to dominate my right earbud and sound like white noise or a waterfall, so that's something to consider if you're looking for just the sound of a babbling brook. Nonetheless, this track is very relaxing and I am glad I added it to my collection. Birdsong and insect noise is light and cheerful. I can imagine sitting here drinking a cup of coffee, which I heated up on the nearby campfire as I gaze around at this breathtaking scene. Amazing.

Similar in tone to Utopia, but with a little more emphasis on the water and fewer bird calls. Instead of buzzing bees there is some kind of cricket calling, a few small and fairly quiet birds, and what sounds like an occasional duck. All of these sounds are well balanced and allow you to focus on the scene as a whole. Very relaxing.

The Naturescape description is right-on for this track, but, of course, I will break down the details to be as specific as possible. Yes, you hear a lovely small gurgling creek in the foreground--and this sound is most dominant in the mix. Off in the distance on the right is the sound of the river. It's a large river, so the effect is of a steady deep white noise underneath the sound of the creek. The crickets are much more subtle than in most tracks with crickets, and they are heard as a slow series of intermittent chirping at a bit of a distance off to your right. Stronger in the mix are the bird sounds although they too are much more subtle here than what are found on most tracks that include birdcalls. There is one bird who stays fairly close by to your left and calls steadily throughout the length of the track. He must be a very small bird as his call sounds a lot like a cricket. It's a weak high-pitched trill that, initially, I found a bit distracting. There is also the call of a hummingbird heard very briefly. For those who don't know what a hummingbird sounds like, I would describe it as a rapid series of very high-pitched staccato chirps. The hummingbird is also heard from the left, so we have two tiny high-pitched birds that sound a bit like insects coming from our left. I believe this track is lifted from the beginning section of the full-length iTunes recording titled, "Summer Mountain Valley." The free Naturespace app track titled "Summer Mountain Valley" is also lifted from the longer recording of the same name--but from a later portion of the 12-minute recording. So if you already own the full-length track then you know exactly what "Idyllica Tremens" will sound like. My impressions. This is a truly beautiful and peaceful track. The sound of the little high-pitched birds eventually grew on me, and I now enjoy this track immensely. These birds are not the same loud ear-piercing type as heard on "Hansel and Gretel", so not to worry--the track is very soothing. Since I do have the full-length track that this clip was edited from, my only criticism would be that I wish this app version were just a couple of minutes longer. There is a hint more variety on the longer track--the hummingbird, for example, moves around from the left channel to the right and adds to a feeling of greater dimension in the recording. This clip loops well but seems a bit short. I'm nit picking here though--the track is one of the most beautiful in the collection and well worth purchasing.
