Reminds me of a particular storm during the 4th of july weekend of 1969 at my Sister's house when the thunder alone shook their house numerous times and kept all 7 of us up all night!

Not only is it rich in depth and breadth, but it is also awesome in encapsulating the power of Nature's calming yet intense fury. One of the best apps you can spend your money on.

You can really hear the hot and cold air masses coming together in this track. What I like about this one is, you hear more of the steady rain in between the thunder rumbles and claps. Some thunder claps are quite loud and could be startling to some, so listen at a cautionary volume. Great thunderstorm though!

Always loved this track! The sound-coordinated light effect is amazing, just a little suggestion.. Light travels faster than sound, therefore it would be a great idea if lighting effects would be coded to light up before the thunderstorm sound comes. Maybe move the light effect code a second ahead of the track? Anyways, best thunderstorm track I've ever heard!

Love this app, I have no suggestions, this is perfect for sleeping and studying but if you are studying do not turn it all the way up, it will distract you or if you are tired enough she will fall asleep but above all, it is amazing!

This is one of my favorite thunderstorm tracks. I love it on headphones by I've been able to use my home surround sound system with my Bluetooth on my phone and this sounds amazing!! Perfect for reading. I can enjoy a thunderstorm right in my living room.

This is just awesome. It was raining in Bangalore sans thunder & lightning. Sat in the balcony exposing myself to a bit of rain and played this track on Bose noise cancellation headphones! The quality of thunders is what you hear in nature. Different varieties of thunder from distant rumblings to the big ones. And the rain fall so damn realistic. I was transported, enlightened and humbled. The rains stopped for others but continued for me for a really long time.

Last night I wanted to fall asleep to my favorite gentle thunderstorm, Sheltered. After I fell asleep I was being nudged awake by my favorite more active storm track, Nikola. I had no idea how I switched tracks and figured I'd just pull the earbuds out and go back to sleep. After removing the buds, I was immediately annoyed as I could still hear Nikola. Only it wasn't the recording, it was the real thing. A surprise storm rolled in. What amazed me is I thought the live, real storm was your recording. Your tracks are so good, I couldn't tell the difference.

I sleep to this just about every night at a med-low volume. The thunder is perfect, not too soft or too jarring and the variety of sounds is truly the perfect storm. I have my old iPhone hooked up to speakers in my bedroom so it usually ends up playing 24-7. It's perfect.

These tracks all have such a hypnotic effect, relaxing and putting me to sleep - exactly what I'm hoping for. But I was searching for something that would keep me company tonight as I work, and Legend is doing it just fine! Calming yet energizing. If I enjoy the nature of my surroundings, my attitude about work - and my productivity - increases. Legend is creating that sense of being wide awake when a storm system moves in yet safely buffered against its danger. Awake yet cozy. Getting lots done tonight!

This is a great thunderstorm with a lot of variation in the strikes. There's also a steady rain throughout. This track is intense in a good way, but not jarring at all. At a low volume I think I could probably sleep to it if I wanted to, but its going to keep me nice and focused at a medium or loud volume.

This is the only track that i can guarantee some relaxation. Dont play loud though..!

This track is amazing!!! The depth of the thunder and diversity is fascinating and quite amazing to listen to. I only wished all thunderstorms sounded this cool.

Just cool and worth the price

I was new to NatureSpace, so I decided to give this track a try; after not sleeping for days. The track was a almost instant success. I played the music on some cheap radio shack speakers, but to my suprise was awaken multiple times by a loud boom and bed shaking. I thought I was dreaming. It was not clear to me until my third time being awaken that sound was coming from my ipad and cheap speakers. I was tired and amazed. After my wife was startled out of bed thinking the house was hit by lightening (who is a heavy sleeper by the way), I had no choice but to turn it off (I could dream of turning it down), I then became a believer in holographic audio. I also bought as many tracks as I could buy and much better speakers. This sounds amazing, I don't know how I did without it!!!

This is one of my favorites and I have read reviews and find that by turning the volume up on my iPhone and then sticking it under my pillow works great for me, makes it sound like its right outside the window. Enjoy!

This track is totally amazing. I've always loved rainstorms with loud thunders and lightning!

Absolutely stunning. I usually can't stand other "sound" apps, but this is truly superb, and this track is truly cream of the crop. Always interesting but never jarring, all of the thunder is strung together by a constant, but never monotonous rain. A must have.

I liked it but felt it is a little over priced for what you get, I was expecting more for the price I was charged. Not as much storm as I thought it would be. Oh we'll...

One of my favorite thunder tracks so far. Steady, calm rain accented with rolling thunder that cracks occasionally. I agree with one of the other reviewers, I smiled when the first thunder cracked.

Can only hear it with earbuds or external speaker. Thumbs down.____(Naturespace response - "That is the whole idea, to use headphones, or decent speakers. Using an iPhone or an iPad's speaker to recreate the experience of being in a thunderstorm is an exercise in futility.")

I so enjoy a great thunderstorm! This track is wonderfully cozy to listen to at night or when studying or focusing. Listening to it with headphones is MUCH better for this one. if you love thunder, this is it!

This is by far my favorite track yet. Best sleep I've ever had, honestly.

Wow is all I can say... I put this on at night and set the sleep timer for 10 mins And I'm always asleep before it goes off. It's like a good thunderstorm But does get a little loud.

Oh...my...GOSH. Don't have time to say more--have to go out and buy a pair of $200 headphones. Not that this track needs it; it would sound great under any circumstances. However, I'd like to get the most out of it I possibly can. I can justify the expense because I use headphones for my job. Yeah, that's it--my job...

I listen to this every night to sleep. Love it!! It is the best thunderstorm I've found to listen to yet.

The increased dynamic range of Tesla means that it will need a louder overall volume setting in comparison to the rest of the catalog. Many of the strikes are very, very loud. Use the sound of the rain to adjust your volume setting, and slowly increase it until it sounds like it would if it were actually occurring. If you think that you might fall asleep, don't listen too loud, and use the sleep timer to shut it off automatically.

I don't use earbuds. While the tracks of my other installs are sound great, the sound for this is much to subdubed. I can verily hear it. I have my sound level at full capacity and it does not help. Amazing. So peaceful and perfect for those who love storms. There are a few loud claps of thunder but there not as bad as some say unless you have the volume all the way up.

This is the best I have bose speakers and wen i turn it up it litterally shake my bed. It sounds so good.

To get the most out of this track on an iPad a listener should be using decent headphones ($200 or more) and outputting sound to a USB digital analog converter (DAC) using the iPad camera connection kit dongle. Then you bypass the lousy apple built-in headphone amplifier. The difference from $100 headphones and getting sound from the headphone port is incredible for ambient stuff like this. I am not sure how to output digital audio from the iphone or itouch. Personally i find the beyerdynamic dt 880 headphones to be amazing for mid-priced headphones with great value. A portable USB DAC can be had for less than $100.

I've been so addicted to NatureSpace and downloaded every single track in their in-app store. This track is by far my most favorite. Because I listen to it with my high end headphones (Sennheiser HD800/ $1,500), I can feel it's powerful rumble and lightening strike. So realisitic!!! I imagine myself in a meadow weilding the power of the storm. No lie, this track is seriously intimidating.

This is a natural thunder orchestra, that allows concentration when I am reading.

The legend lives on with this one. I know the price seems much but the quality is worth every cent. I can describe the track as being at a vast place with lots of sky with the gentle pattering of rain. A word of warning though,the random editing of the thunder is so good that you'll jump at a unexpected lighting crack or two. It's even better listening while under a fan set to low.

Incredible! I love to listen to a storm, you have a constant heavy rain, rolling thunder, lots of strike that reverbrate through the space. Really well done this. I'd also recommened Aegir those who want to listen to a storm set against the backdrop of ocean waves.

I was hesitating by the price that cost for this track. After I read some couple reviews, and I decided to give it a try. With my Ultimate ears headphone, it creates an amazing sound that you can never imagine in less than a minute!!! I strongly recommend to anyone, who wants to take tis amazing journey.

Man this track is awesome. I got the thundergod app, so I could easily be described as a thunderstorm enthusiast. This did not disappoint. The bass in the thunder rocks even headphones, I'd imagine on a stereo with real bass this would shake a house. I'm definitely going to try it and so should you! It is well worth the money IMO.

It's simply excellent. You deep dive into the storm and when the lightning strikes it hits you like a hammer. If you enjoy a good thunderstorm this is for you!

I love the sound of a thunderstorm and I own all of Naturespace's thunderstorm tracks. This track is outstanding and so seamless that it's impossible to detect where one thunderstorm ends and another begins. The narrative perfectly describes the ambiance and the assertion that this track is unmatched in the entire world over headphones is spot-on!!

The best thunderstorm track. There are deep, soft rolls of thunder, then high, exciting booms, all calmed by the soft patter of rain. You can practically see the lightning jutting down as the sounds explode.

I love the intensity of the crackling bolts of lightning and the rumbling thunder echoes amidst the perfect balance of rain. The believability of this one is, well....simply incredible. I decided to listen to this on my drive home from work tonight (which turned out to be quite a "trip"...lol) I forgot I had my earbuds in many times when the lightning jolts would strike, I found myself looking up in the sky and saying out loud "holy s#*t where did that come from".... Sometimes I'm not the brightest crayon in the box but that's how real these sounds are on Naturespace apps...all in fun. BTW...driving, listening to rain, dry pavement, forgetting I have earbuds....that's what I mean about NOT being the brightest crayon .... Duh. Keep up the fantastic work guys, I'll keep purchasing.

The description that is given pretty much explains the dynamic range of thunder that is found in this track. I would never have known there was more than one thunderstorm if I had not been told so. It's absolutely seamless. Loud bursts and the sound of those bursts rolling away into the distance creates a view of the wide open sky and the danger of being outside, and in contrast, the safety of being indoors.
