This is a lovely ambiance night track. You can get a sense of the space of the lake in front of you because the wildlife calls come from either the left or the right, never in the middle. Plunks in the water can be heard as night birds lose their finds while over the water. An animal frolics in the brush nearby. The frog's song is hharmonious in the night air. The cricket and other pulsing insect songs are light and typical of a night scene with fair skies. There is even a flying insect that buzzes by! This is a very active lake. You can either stay awake to see what happens next or transfix your mind on a particular sound and fall asleep.

Great track but the sounds don't match the description. You have diurnal birds like the Pewee vocalizing. There's no way the recording was made deep in the night. (NATURESPACE COMMENT: This track was recorded right around midnight local time. Pewee calls can occur at all times of day and night according to the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.)

One of my favourites. I have a roofgarden with an jungle interiour. Speakers around the roofgarden. My neighbours asked me what these sounds were. Frogs? On a roof? ( she asked) I said no. Its NatureSpace. She find it quit mysterious, because i never answered here question.

Because of the extremely creative description of this track I really wasn't sure what to expect or even if this would be a pure nature track or a kind of sci fi hybrid. I was happy to discover that it's an exquisite natural night track featuring frogs. Crickets, a light wind, a few birds and scurrying animals fill in the scene. Unlike some of the lake tracks, this one has no water sound beyond the occasional "plunk" as something falls or maybe jumps into the water, the main feature is the sound of the nocturnal wildlife, which is perfect.

There's just something soothing about this one that really makes feel like I'm at the lake at night. It's peaceful but active, though not in a distracting way. Very well done!
