Meia-noite

By Naturespace · 10 reviews ·

This reminds me of a soothing, windy evening in the country. The wind gusts sound high above in the trees, cleansing and cooling with every breeze. The insects' song is light and relaxing. A perfect ending to a hectic day. Great job NatureSpace!

I purchased my first track several years ago. I have purchased others since. I was impressed with the real sounds of nature. I have passed on Naturespace to others. I quality of the sounds I think IS the best on the market. Great job. Please don't stop! I used daily for various avenues of my day n night.

I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy this one. I'm not sure what, exactly, about this track gives it the stunning quality it has of conveying the change of season — especially since crickets and wind aren't unique to "Midnight" among the Naturespace catalogue. Somehow, the atmosphere and feelings of a late, end-of-summer night has been perfectly bottled in this one. It's flawless in imparting that sense of a seasonal shift; one of my favorite seasonal shifts at that… the very first wind that betrays the slightest hint of autumn. Late August; the last week, last days, of August even. In fact, while I've read others share particular memories that other tracks have brought back for them, none have ever evoked a reaction like that in me until now. It's as if every last week of summer vacation, before school started again, was there all at once. "Midnight" is the quintessence of summer's end.

Fresh and crisp. The wind is steady, but never harsh or overpowering, and the chorus of crickets behind it all is so lovely. A beautiful track to fall asleep or relax to. It's definitely become one of my favorites, and I find myself returning to it again and again.

This is the perfect white noise. I have trouble sleeping, mostly just staying asleep, and the first night I used this track, I woke up refreshed for the first time in years. I highly recommend it. The wind has amazing depth--I can almost imagine myself under a starry night sky in an open field. The crickets aren't too loud, like in some other tracks I have. All in all, I highly recommend this track.

Wonderful. So peaceful. Takes me back home to Vancouver Island and the sound of the wind in the trees during one of our frequent wind storms. At one point there is a brief sound which sounds like a raven. It would be great if you did a recording from the west coast of BC or something from First Nations land...ravens, salmon, etc.

Although featured in the Wind category, it could just as easily be in the Evening category. The wind in Midnight is slightly more dynamic than in Beneath the Dreaming trees, also seems to have a higher focus. I get the impression of a more powerful wind swirling through the treetops above you, making the branches creak. Beneath it all are the sounds of crickets and some other kind of night insect. Once in a while you hear another sort of animal in the trees, but I'm not sure what it is. Definitely a favorite for falling asleep to.

This is an awesome soundtrack that reminds me of windy summer nights, like this song reminds me of gazing at the stars while you hold someone special =) but yeah great for nights of studying and and warm sleep.

Late summer through mid-autumn sounds. Wind rustles in long gusts that seem to emanate in the distance before rushing in to swirl overhead and around the listener. Crickets are embedded throughout the sound-scape - not loud but very present. The feeling is of the first turn in the seasons, a warm night with the first cool breeze that hints of longer, cooler nights to follow. Very strong sense of boughs being shaken and moved about with the sound of leaves rustling and wood creaking above and all around.
