This is my "go to" track when I want to listen to straight rain with no rumbling of thunder. The rain is steady as it saturates the land. I think I hear a mild wind in this track, but I could be wrong. Maybe it's the rain picking up a smidgen? There is no cricket song or anything else heard here, except the sound of a constant, steady rain. As you concentrate on the foliage getting their drink, you'll drift off to sleep, if you're resting. Aah, I feel refreshed already! *smile*

Awesome track !!! Soft sounds very soothing

If you're looking for a track that is just rain with no thunder or other sounds, or you want a track that is excellent for blocking external noise, this is your track. The rain is a steady, textured wall of sound. It doesn't really undulate or change in any way, and looping is invisible because the soundscape is so steady. It definitely sounds like a forest rain with the sense of most of the drops hitting the canopy above you, but beyond that it is silence. Steady rain, running water, wind and waves are the best categories for blocking noise, and in the rain category this track is the one I would recommend for that purpose, or Camping in the Rain if you prefer more of a slight sense of environment to accompany your white noise.

I'm living in a small town directly at the Baltic Sea... When I was a Girl, I often went to the Beach when it was raining. I loved sitting under an umbrella, feeling the still-warm Sand beneath my naked feet, no one there but me and my thoughts as such a heavy rain doesn't seem to invite anyone but me. I'm so glad I grabbed this. It's the perfect cross between rain and white noise... It masks sounds very well, and you really do feel like it's raining outside as you snuggle deeper into your blankets. Very simple, very clear, very comforting. I have several rain and storm tracks and this one is something special.

This is my numero uno, go-to, desert island track... great for masking external noise, relaxation and sleep - simply adjust the volume accordingly for whichever result you're looking to achieve. Lovely clean phonics with a pure track, unencumbered by birds, crickets, wind or any other unnecessary layers. Love love LOVE it!

This is a recording of a nice steady rain, like we have so many nights here in Hilo, HI. Great to sleep to!

I own almost all of them & this is the one I almost always choose to sleep to.

A heavy atmosphere. Rain pours with strenght over a lake in front of you. Soft details reveal water flowing near your feet. The ambient has too much bass and noise for my taste, yet this track sounds pretty good over my iPod speakers. Maybe their best rain track, and certainly very good. Just after buying it I didn't liked this track, but now I enjoy it a lot. You can be inmersed in it with ease.

Eternal Reign is the fifth track in the Thundergod series, and is all rain, no thunder. It is a nice, medium density rain that creates a steady ambience without any distractions. It is a forest rain, so the drips are organic and natural, no umbrella, no concrete, just trees and leaves.

This is one of my favorites, the rain is so soft and gentle. It sounds like tiny fast drops and is so soothing it's like cashmere for your ears.

Constant steady medium rainfall without any thunder or other sounds. The soft patter or raindrops on forest foliage is very relaxing.

This is my favorite track for falling asleep. It is very soothing, and realistic. The rain shower has a very static ambiance, which is great for relaxation. I find that it sounds really good with speakers, or from my built in iPad or iPod speaker.

Nice simple simple steady rain. Great on headphones as the rain drips from the leaves. No thunder or wind. Like everything Naturespace does, this recording of rain is another example of a simple sound recorded beautifully.
