Living in the Arizona Desert with summer temperatures as high as 120 F, the thirst for rain is nearly unquenchable. Therefore, this is one of my go tos when I need to hear the sound of rain. Keep up the excellent work, Nature Space!

I didn’t notice it for a long time until it started confusing me in my sleep. I couldn’t figure out where the sound was coming from. If you listen real closely theres a beeping sound like an electronic device adjusting, or a camera beeping, intermittently throughout this track. Once you hear it, you won’t be able to unhear it. This was one of my favorites prior to noticing.

This is a great rain track. The write-up for this track is dead on. There is a constant rain with varying rain patterns. You can hear the rain hitting a multitude of surfaces. You can hear the gutters and downspouts trying to manage the water. There is a constant, soft rumble of thunder over head, but it hasn't gotten to you yet. Perhaps it's a Town or two over? With headphones this track is great for blocking environment noise such as, TVs, snoring, talking, etc. Over speakers, it sounds like a healthy storm is brewing outside. This is great to listen to while sleeping, reading, or studying. The thunder is not startling, so if you fall asleep to this one, you shouldn't be awakened by loud thunder. I encourage all who like rain tracks to get this one for your collection. It will not disappoint.

First track I bought on naturespace. Since then I've bought loads of others and none compares to this. It's so realistic I half expect to see my parents' garden out the window when it's on. Thanks naturespace

Love this track! Perfect mix of relaxing, gentle rain that sounds just like rain outside my window. Calming, encourages focus on sounds and letting go of thoughts. Soothes to sleepiness in a very few minutes!

This is in my top three favorite rain tracks. The vast 3-D space is absolutely gorgeous as you here the rain drops make subtle noise differences as they fall on different types of surfaces. Each noise is vivid and will quickly fill-up your senses. The subtle thunder only adds to the realism and sense of place. My only problem with the track is one that that others might enjoy - the birds. The bird noices are subtle and might be missed without quality headphones. Yet, for me they are distracting. They often jerk me out of relaxation because they feel so close. I find myself feeling bad for them as they are stuck in an urban downpour. Don't get me wrong, I still love this track and return to it often for active Listenning; however, for general rain. Lise without distractions I much prefer the new Cloudburst track. It also has a strong sense of presence with vivid and distinct rain, but it is more even without any birds being loud enough to distract me.

I'm a full-on naturespace addict, and I've started to consider myself somewhat a naturespace snob...if there is such a thing, in either regard. Ahem. Anyway. Back home is a great track. I have a bluetooth speaker I use predominantly, but I it's also wonderful on earbuds (I particularly recommend using an eye mask when doing so.) "back home" really makes me feel as if I am back home...and honestly, I don't know what more you could ask for a couple bucks.

In my opinion this has the best balance of thunder and rain. I love and own all the thunder tracks, but this one is special because the sound if the rain never gets lost; it sounds so real and every single drop is crisp and defined. The thunder is light an relaxing and it's the perfect soundtrack to a good night's sleep. I love sleeping to Nikola Tesla and some of the more powerful thunder tracks, but I start to miss the sound of the rain and end up coming back to Back Home again and again. I hope someday Naturespace will record a stronger thunder track with the same type of rain. That would be perfection for sure!

The most realistic

One of my favorites.

This is a friendly sounding rain with soft thunder. You can definitely tell it's a man made environment from the sound of the rain hitting metal and cement, very different from rain in a forest. I personally prefer the more wild environments, but this is a well recorded sound that I'm sure many who find comfort in the suburbs will love.

I like this one best for falling asleep at Night. It's like sitting in the porch with your very best friend - a friend so close that you don't have to talk. You're just sitting close together, enjoying the early evening and following your own threads of thoughts.

My favorite naturespace to sleep to... Has been for over a year now ( every night ). A night without it is too quiet. Replaced night at lake unknown as favorite quiet white noise.

This track is great when played low (if possible). It gives just the needed subtle effect of rain in a quiet suburb.

This was the first track I bought and it convinced me to buy the complete catalog. The recording quality is way beyond the usual rain soundloops from other apps. This raintrack has a city feel to it. You can hear the drops on the asphalt and on something like a tinroof. It reminds me of standing under a busstop shelter.

By far, the most used app on my iPad. Thanks to naturespace, I can relax anywhere. I sleep to the sound of rain every night with the "back home" track and it really does sound just like a summer night with the windows open during a rainstorm. Very soothing.

The best track in my opinion...the sound is soo clear and that thunder....all is amaizing...i totally recomand this track !

There is something about a gentle, steady rain that is completely relaxing, especially if it is just outside the bedroom window. Maybe it's knowing that the rain will postpone all that hard work I had planned for the morning. It will be a good day to sleep in. This track is one of my all-time favorites (and I own sixty of 'em!) so you know I truly love it. Just enough rumbling in the background to assure that this will be a real soaker. Enjoy.

Perfect! Just like the description says; an urban setting with all the rain noises. Perfect for when I'm not home but wish I were. I don't hear the thunder in the background but i do love the down spout of rain and the tink it makes as it hits rock.

I was looking for a rain track that would remind me of rain on a metal roof, a sound I grew up with in Hawaii. This one came the closest. Good plinky rain track.

My utter favorite, Back Home reminds me of lazy summer afternoon showers. It's like you're sitting in a screened porch. Great to nap to.

Great track. I have all the rain tracks and this is the easiest to sleep by. No cricket noise. Only soft distant thunder. Perfect. I like them all, but this lets me sleep.

This track is similar to Treehouse rain but the sounds of the rain hitting the roof and the ground are much closer here, another great track highly recommended.

Wonderfully soothing, the constant rain does not seem overbearing or loud, but still let's you feel encapsulated and protected by it. The occasional sound of distant thunder gives the impression of being under a canopy in a wide open space. Ideal for studying or relaxing, a truly calming piece.

I've had sleep apnea and insomnia for a long time. I couldn't remember what it was like to sleep the whole night thru. I bought this app. Just to see if it would help me at least relax. OMG!! I should've done this a long time ago. I play this track every night. I have not woken up once in the middle of the night since I bought it. I totally love it.

Wow this is amazing! I love that you can hear the thunder lightly in the back ground. It takes you to this place that they are talking about. Very relaxing.

Just blissfull.I bought this track because living in Ireland as I do you have to take pleasure in the sound of rain. And the absolute best time to enjoy it is either inside a tent,as another poster said, or snug under the duvet when you know it is the weekend and you don't have to get up. So I'm going to surprise my husband with this track and let him have a lovely lie in thinking it's lashing outside. Maybe he'll get breakfast in bed,or maybe I'll join him.....

I love this track so much every time i hear this track i think of the times back in Maryland when i would go outside sit down, close my eyes and just listen to the soft rain hit the streets and sidewalks.

Another terrific one from NS. For this one I imagine alternate imagery... It has been raining most of the night and when you wake come morning the rain is still coming down. Though your plans for an early morning hike are dashed, and your camping trip looks like one of the soggy kind, the sound of the rain against the tent roof is calming and peaceful. You listen and hear the rain bouncing off some of your gear that you must have left outside. You think about going out for it but decide against it. You'd be drenched. Your significant other is still sleeping - the rain is probably helping that. You settle back into your sleeping bag and fold your hands behind your head staring upward at the roof. You just listen. Thunder rolls outside. Well, for a soggy camping trip this isn't half bad.

A nice track for when I wish to stay in the city instead of going off in the forests and fields far away. :) Very peaceful with the patter of rain on concrete sidewalks and shingled roofs, with very soft thunder in the distance. It's nice to listen to when I want a rainstorm, minus the cars!

Now THIS is peaceful. Depending on my imagination it's either a chilly rain cooling a hot summer night or it's a warm rain that begs you to sit on your porch in peace. If the sound of rain is a peaceful and meditative thing for you, then please do yourself a favor and buy this track. It's absolutely stunning.

There have been quite a few days where I wished there was a nice rain shower to relax to while indoors and now I can finally have one whenever I want. This is distinctively different than any of the nature rains. Its nice to change it up with this track. How they were able to capture rainfall in this environment without all the white noise of cars and jets is beyond me!
