건조한 고지 사막에서, 수백 킬로미터를 가도 물은 이곳 하나뿐이다. 그 위로 수만 마리 찌르레기 떼가 모여들어 한 덩어리로 뭉친다. 오리들은 꽥꽥 울며 수면을 치고 수평으로 떠오른다. 날개가 물을 때리는 소리가 박수처럼 퍼진다. 메추라기 떼는 덤불에서 터지듯 튀어나온다. 하늘을 가득 메운 찌르레기의 압도적인 수가 출렁이는 액체 연기처럼 굽이치며 대기를 가로지른다. 화물열차처럼 밀고 나간다. 이 트랙은 매우 길고, 전혀 편안하지 않다; 완전한 새의 광기다. 그런데도, 완전한 혼돈처럼 보이는 한가운데서 충돌이나 다툼의 기미는 어디에도 없다. 우리는 이 놀라운 자연 현상을 포착하려고 수년간 시도해왔고, 마침내 그것을 기록하게 되어 매우 기쁘다. 정말로 흥미롭다.

There's a whole lot of flapping going on! I love flapping wings. I swear some of those birds are going to flap their wings against my four head. That would feel so soft. I've heard prettier – sounding birds, but I'm in heaven, listening to all that flapping. Keep the flaps coming!
This is one of my favorite nature items. The reason it is my favorite is because when I listen to it with my earphones, sometimes I get so caught up that when I hear something flying over my head I duck. I love it!
Flight is a great track to experience via headphones or earbuds when you want to tune out a conversation or noise you don't want to hear. It is an active track: the multitude of sounds hold your attention, delight your ears, and ignite your imagination.

This is such a nice track. Highly recommendable, not for sleeping, because of the busy birdlife. In a way it is relaxing though, listening to the quacking and peeping birds, the fladdering wings, touching the water. Well done!
This is a dynamic track to say the least, and I didn't know what to expect when I downloaded it. I've found myself listening to it more than I thought I would because it is so fascinating. Gentle lake waves and the sense of open space provide a backdrop to countless avian sounds. At times it sounds like thousands of different types of birds are calling at once, each one distinct from the other. Other moments lull into quiet with only a few soft sounds. Most interesting is the sensation of constant motion, whether it is a single bird fluttering down to the water to bathe, or a huge flock flying by with the beat of hundreds of wings.
NOTHING like I've ever heard before, and I LOVE it...! Thousands and thousands of birds, from cute, chubby little songbirds to huge geese. And everything in between! Occasionally a flock of birds take off, their hundreds of wings flapping in unison. I have never heard such a variety of birds on the same place! There are these birds that squeak like a old-fasioned bell-horn and ones that sound similar to a woodpecker drilling holes on a tree. Oh, I just heard a few mourning doves. A must-buy!
Flight is extremely entertaining. It's a bird's grand central station! In the background there is a wall of bird conversation. Up close, there are a variety of birds splashing and communicating with one another. Flowing water throughout. Birds step up to the mic to say a few words. There is also an unbelievable recording of thousands of birds taking flight! It's stunning...so many different birds... so many different kinds of calls. I thought it was a rollercoaster roaring by! I'm telling you, it's fantastic. The ducks (I think they're ducks) are quacking away at the mic...seemingly enjoying the experience of being a part of this incredible day.
