What listeners say
Last night I was hearing this outside the window here in Buffalo Ny. This is a calming sound- unless it's real, and then you have a nice coating of ice to scrape off before you leave in the morning. Lol. Geeesh.
I can't get enough of this track. It took me awhile to purchase since I try not to make impulse buys, but my gosh guys, it was worth every single penny! It's by far one of my favorite tracks in the entire catalogue. I love the sound of rain, but sometimes the constant pitter-patter gets boring. Fahrenheit 33 is different. The variation in raindrops (icy, liquid, popping, plunking, electric) makes this track absolutely amazing. There's a sense of space that is relaxing, calm and captivating. The icy sounds are great in the summer when you want to pretend it is October. When I listen, I like to imagine myself sitting outside in a bubble of warmth, cuddled up in a cute warm sweater and drinking hot chocolate. (The truth is, I'm probably listening to Fahrenheit 33 while I'm being all completionist with Assassin's Creed, but hey, this track works for everything!) I like the name of the title as well, it's super Ray Bradbury-esque. Keep it up NatureSpace!
This is my favourite track I have downloaded so far . I fall asleep to it every night
This track transports me back to a day in the Northeast. It's raining, it's hailing, it's sleeting, and even some rain is mixed in. The steady, but calming precipitation hits the leaves, twigs, grass, and water surfaces, giving everything an icy crust. On the right, you'll hear precipitation dripping into water that is not quite frozen causing the water to make a gurgle noise. Very relaxing. Occasionally, a wind gust will form, causing the precipitation to turn horizontal. The air is cold and crisp. The environment is still and quiet, except for the steady sound of the frozen pellets and an occasional wind. This track is great to sleep to, or even to meditate. Close your eyes and you can almost smell the cool, crisp air. I think I can smell someone's fireplace. This is a great track to grab for your collection.
Loved it! So peaceful. Thought I was in a cabin close to the lake.
A very wet late fall day. The rain in the midground of this track is soft but steady, while underneath there is a subtle, undulating quality like shifting wind high in the trees. In the foreground you hear the plunk of drops hitting the lake. No one layer dominates, each sharing space relatively evenly. Although everything is very soft, the whole environment is saturated with moisture to the point that I imagine it could be seen in the air. Very calm but also very neutral in tone - you can sleep to it, it's good white noise, and you can easily imagine the details of the scene in any way that you like as long as you like rain.
This is my eighth rain sound and to choose a favorite among them is as crazy as trying to choose a favorite child. Enjoy each one's distinctiveness. I find "Fahrenheit 33" to be possibly the most reflective of the NatureSpace rains. The quiet shush common to all rainstorms is much more in the background with this one, and in the foreground are distinct splishes, splashes, pitters, and patters. Fahrenheit 33 begs listening and thought as hundreds of these delicate aural jewels go by.
Delicate, crystalline. Lots of different textures and sounds as the frozen rain falls on varied surfaces, the lake, leaves, the trees. Very relaxing. You can almost hear freezing happening.
