予定より大幅に遅れて島の中心へ辿り着いたとき、思いもよらぬものに出会う。考えられるのは二つ、異星のものか、軍の仕業か。だが、発光する植物と生体機構は、軍のものとは思えないほど美しい。 厚く茂った樹々の葉が月明かりを遮り、フラクタル状の葉脈は有機的な光を帯びて、静かに脈打っている。

The Secret is an interesting track that provides a sense of nighttime in a dense, and previously undiscovered biodiversity. On your way to the center of the Island, you realized something: when you first saw the tree-covered slope that marks the center of the island back at the Beach, you just assumed it was a mountain. But on your long travels towards the island center in the Search, you realized that rising landmark was much more. It was no mountain, but none other than the volcano that formed the island itself. More interesting yet, you immediately recognize that this is no ordinary volcano. As you approached its base you suspected it may be inactive. &While you're no geologist, this diagnosis is easy, as you stand there gaping at the extraordinary sight of a dead, and entirely hollowed-out volcano. Despite the fact that you are certain that there is no such geologic structure ever before seen on earth quite like this, you enter one of the small, but numerous creavesas along what should have been the solid rock of an upward sloping tropical mountain. It is here, inside this hollowed volcano, that you find the Secret. An entire ecosystem that has evolved bioluminescent properties. Most astounding of all, you can see the roots of the trees that you saw scattered on the surface from as far away as the Beach; their roots hang down from the cracks and holes they made in the earth above you, and their roots, too, are pulsing blue-ish green. You decide to head in deeper, into the part of the jungle that extended itself into this dark empty pocket of earth; and went on to light the way.
Like a glimpse of the jungle through altered perception. Perhaps you shouldn't of eaten that mystery mushroom you found while exploring? Some of the sounds are recognizable as birds or insects, but others are mysteries for the imagination. Cool, trippy and strangely hypnotic. If you like any of the jungle like sci-fi tracks you will like this one.
This track is helpful for me to concentrate at work. I don't find it a track that I could fall asleep to - it feels too busy - but the hypnotic rhythm helps me focus.
