Of all the thunder tracks I like this one the best because the thunder is not jarring. I like to put this one on when I want to meditate but not fall asleep. The thunder is just enough to remind me to redirect my mind back to my meditation if it has wandered. The rain & rolling thunder puts you in an almost hypnotic state, and then the louder, closer thunder makes sure you don’t go too deep. Although none of the thunder is too loud. There’s no loud crashes. I cannot sleep to this track, but I’m a very light sleeper. Some people may enjoy this for sleeping. I prefer liquid sunshine to sleep to as the thunder is a little bit gentler.

This is probably my favorite thunderstorm track. I'm not a huge fan of loud, startling thunderclaps (unless I'm looking for excitement instead of relaxation). I like Odin because it has a steady, consistent rain that's neither too loud nor too light. The thunder is steady, low and rumbly instead of ear-splitting and sudden. Very soothing and one of the few tracks I can use for either sleep or concentration. It's both calming and slightly invigorating. Kind of like a gentle brain massage.

This track sounds awesome in headphones. The steady rain is soothing and the deep thunder rumbles are not distracting. The track gives me a sense that this storm is occurring during the day. So far, I have tried this track over surround-sound speakers, in-ear earphones, and over-the-ear headphones. Each way I listened gave me a different perspective. The in-ear earphones are the best to sleep with for comfort, especially if you have someone who enjoys the television at bedtime.

Love this track (and all tracks on here!) thunder is well placed and the rain is soothing. Reminds me of monsoon season I love it!

This track along with Liquid Sunshine would be my picks for best general rain/thunder tracks. My favorite feature of Odin is the presence of insect and other subtle wildlife noises, which helps convey the natural space. i get the sense of a summer rain where the eye of the storm is passing in the distance. The result is a total environment that is both relaxing and engaging.

Love this one as its just enough rain and lighting to where you can relax

I have been falling asleep to Odin for the last week and it is quickly becoming my go too rain/thunderstorm track. It provides thunder claps that are just loud enough to help you drift off but are never startling. The sound o rain is constant and blends well with the thunder. I highly recommend this track even if you have others in the thunder god series.

A beautiful rendition of the calming, expansive summer storm; which cleanses and renews the air and the mind. Great for reading, studying, sleeping, relaxing, meditation, etc. I also own Tesla, which provides a more intense storm system, resulting in louder strikes over the slow prolonged rumbling of Odin. If Tesla is for spectacle, then Odin is for subtle introversion; making it, in my opinion, the best of the Thundergod tracks. Although the tracks Sheltered and Liquid Sunshine are considered "Rain" rather than "Thunderstorms," both have enough thunder to be considered storms. Sheltered and Liquid Sunshine both have the same style storm as Odin — relaxed, calming, with slow expansive rumbling rather than loud strikes. Thus, Sheltered provides a little more comfort, because it is heard from safe under the porch; and Liquid Sunshine provides a greater sense of silence and solitude in its forest setting, absent of any insect noises - and with a slight wind. If you like Odin, I strongly recommend Sheltered and Liquid Sunshine. The converse is true of Sheltered to Odin & L. Sunshine, and L. Sunshine to Sheltered and Odin.

Great. I used to have a cd like this but I played it until it wouldn't play. Now I can wirelessly stream this from my iPhone to my apple tv in the bedroom and play it while I sleep. Perfect

Definitely the coziest track in the Thundergod collection, and, I think, the coziest of all the thunderstorms in the Naturespace library. The thunder consists of low, mostly distant rolls that never startle, and I like the intermittent sound of insects in the background. The perfect track to listen to while curled up with a good book; great to fall asleep to, as well. Bottom line: The perfect storm.

Odin is simply incredible. Beautiful composition.. Worth every penny. Highly recommended.

The perfect thunderstorm track for quiet studying. Thunder is low and rumbling, never startling, and the rain sounds steady and cool.

Odin is the second track in the Thundergod series. It is in a similar environment to Thor, but doesn't have the startling, out-of-nowhere strikes that make you jump. It is entertaining and fascinating, and many people enjoy this as an ambience for sleeping. Big rumbles and deep growls that roll across the sky make a great place to be while studying or reading. Not too distracting, but definitely not boring either. Rain is steady and mostly ambient.

The perfect storm to relax to. Reminds me of the storms here during the Midwest Summers. Different pitches of rain give the feeling of rain pouring off your roof. The thunder is close but not startling. A top pick of mine to fall asleep to.

At first I was a little concerned, that having Odin would be pointless since I already have Tesla, and both are similar heavy rain and thunder. The differences between the two are stark, Odin seems close more intimate the rain is more present and the sound of insects are also present. I'm glad I have both.

This is one of my top 5 favorites in the Nature Space collection. A nice steady rain with gentle thunder activity that sounds like it's all around you. Very calming and relaxing. Puts me to sleep every time. 5/5

Really wonderful track! So full it surrounds you. Reminds me of a family trip we took to minnesota where we stayed in a lakeside cabin. A thunderstorm broke out and my mom made wild rice on the wood burning stove. This track brings me right there, the smell of wood and rice and rain, looking out the window at the grey clouds and lightening. Not to aggressive, just interesting...

Great rolling thunder. Consistent down pour.

This sounds like a rather intense storm that is already passed over. You can still hear constant thunder, but it's distant and rolling, not as intense if it was right above you. The wind has died down and the rain has started falling announcing the beginning of the end of a severe storm at night. This is one of my favorites to listen to while sleeping. Nothing is more relaxing to me than a gentler thunderstorm.

Love this track. Softly rolling thunder in the distance with a steady nighttime summer rain falling. Perfect night to sit on the porch and watch the night time display. Great for reading or studying to.

Very relaxing track with heavy, steady rain and low rumbling thunder in the distance. Some low cricket sounds throughout but not enough to be distracting while sleeping.

I really like this track. Odin has a fantastic mellow-storm vibe. It's not as violent as the "Thor" track. The raindrops are pleasant and mostly steady.There is a great sense of night in this track brought by some really gentle and sparse crickets that are barely noticeable.
