I’ve been using this app for at least a decade now, probably closer to 15 years or so (how old is this app now? I dunno, but I know that I’m getting old!) and this is still one of my all-time favorites out of every Naturespace track released to date in almost October 2025. There’s just something about rain hitting your tent that is magical and so relaxing to boot. And when they say “holographic audio” this is a track that proves it - the larger, heavier drops sound as if they’re on top of the tent, then the left or right, and then behind, and it truly makes me feel like I’m in my tent on a trail somewhere and I’ve been caught in a rainstorm, only that I have a much, much larger and far more comfortable bed in that ‘tent’ than I do when actually camping out! The only way this track could be better is with thunder; I hope that the team will record a good thunderstorm in a tent with such rain because I wouldn’t even need to think for more than a second whether or not to buy it. Hint, hint, Naturespace team. Hint-hinty-hint.

This has to be my all time favorite rain sound. It’s beautifully relaxing and just perfect for lulling into sleep. I have this playing continuously in my bedroom all the time and after a while you really get the relaxing feeling when you go in your bedroom. Makes you feel like curling up on the best rainy day with a book in hand and covered by a tent filled with blankets and pillows for ultimate comfort.

My favorite track. It truly sounds as if the rain is falling all around you: to your left, to your right, over your head, behind your head, everywhere. This track is the best example of Naturespace's holographic audio, and is my preferred track to drift off to sleep to.

Helps relax me, great for meditation and to fall asleep to. Love it!!

I absolutely love this track. It is very relaxing and soothing to listen to. This track reminds me of my childhood when my little brothers and I would go camping in our little pup tents. Many nights when we would camp it was raining just like this. I love the sound of rain falling on the tent. Thanks for a great memory of my childhood. I appreciate all you do Naturespace. Keep up the great work.

I really like this one. There is something about a heavy downpour hitting the roof of your tent. The rain is intense and hypnotic. Very relaxing. You can even hear crickets, but the rain picks up and drowns them out. This track sounds phenomenal through headphones. You can hear every drop of rain, every crackle and pop of twigs, every breeze of wind. The varying degrees of rainfall leaves you with your thoughts as you sit in your tent and wait for the rain to subside. Awesome rain track! Great for masking out disturbing background noise when played at a higher volume. I sure hope the campers chose a spot on high ground. *smile*

This is one if my favorite tracks. Correction, could be one of my favorite tracks. Unfortunately it gets ruined by a telephone ringing in the back ground. I can't think of anything natural that I've encounter in the wild that sounds like a telephone ringing. To me camping and cell phones don't really go hand to hand. Too bad! (NATURESPACE COMMENT:So look, there is no way that we would ever allow a cell phone into one of our recordings. It's simply not possible, we take this job WAY too seriously for that too happen. What you are hearing is a bird. The reason you don't recognize it as such is because you have probably never been to Hawaii, which is where this track was made. There are a lot of crazy bird sounds there, and we do admit that a fair amount of them sound almost digital, which we find both amazing and beautiful. As far as not posting your review goes, you did not leave your email, so we had no way to tell you it's a bird. So it wasn't approved. All you had to do was email us. I guess it's just easier for you to leave a 1 star review? Wow. Please consider modifying your iTunes review. We allow every negative review that comes in, as long as it is accurate. Suggesting there is a cell phone ringing is simply wrong.)

Simple, familiar, and just variable enough to make listening a delight while drifting off to sleep. The heavy plunks of water on the tent are the perfect addition to a traditional rain track.

I love this track, it helps me sleep and concentrate. Highly recommended.

This is my favorite track. I listen to it just about every night while falling asleep. It really does sound just like camping in the rain.

This is one of my favorite tracks and probably the one I find myself listening to most. I like how straightforward it is. Not distracting in the slightest, just a perfect sound that you can focus on and become unfocused at the same time to drift you off to sleep. 10/10!

So realistic. I have most of the rain soundtracks and this is the one I come back to the most. There are several different types and levels of rainfall. Very relaxing.

Ok, NatureSpace has never verified this, but I think I came up with the idea for this track. ;) Check out my review of Back Home (posted before this track was released) and you'll see that I used "Camping in the Rain" as alternate imagery for that track! I was pleased as a camper in springtime when this track came out, and you know what? NatureSpace nailed it again! This track is so good you can occasionally feel a rain drop make its way through the canvas and fall on your face. (Oh, wait. My roof is leaking.) Anyway, campers will enjoy this, along with anyone who likes a good rainy day. (If you're looking for me I'll be on the roof fixing this leak. I should play a nice sunny track for that.)

Oh how I love this nice, gentle, soothing sound. This is one of my go-to tracks for blocking out noise or pain; I must listen to it at least 3-4 times a week. I have actually never experienced tent camping in the rain but it sure sounds lovely.

Pretty good, not like the rain I'm used to, but still takes me back

This is one of my favorite track to relax myself. I love all the rain tracks but this one comes on the top list. Reminds me of my childhood when I used to wait for the rain to stop and fall asleep without my intent.

This is one of my favorite tracks. The rain sounds realistic and reminds me of a relaxing camping trip. But even if you don't like camping, it's a great rain track!

If you have ever done much camping, you'll recognize and enjoy how completely real and evocative this track is. A good one to pull the covers (or sleeping bag) up to your chin and snuggle down for some extra shut-eye, or perhaps an extra chapter or two of that book. I love this module.

I love this. I always use this track when I want to read. Makes me think of camping out in the rain Forest, listening to the soft crackle of rain fall on my makeshift tent. Get it!

Veteran campers, my husband and I so love the cozy feeling of being in a tent with the rain falling that we'll regularly pitch our tent in the backyard when we know a storm's coming. Armed with provisions (plenty of snacks), books, or just intending to take a nap while the rain falls, it's the happiness of being together and sheltered that makes being in a tent while it's raining so darn much fun. Thanks for capturing that experience so we can enjoy it any time!

When I was young we often found ourselves "rained in" on a neighbor's front porch and had to wait it out till the storm passed. This track makes me think of these afternoons, drinking Cokes on the screened in porch, with the rain gently drumming on the metal roof. Beautifully evocative. Thanks!

Camping in the rain has never been so relaxing. Fat raindrops fall on your tent in the wilderness. Subtle crickets and wind underscores the scene. Just when you think the tone of the rain is steady it changes again. I'm not sure what the length of this track is, but it FEELS very long. I can feel the dampness of the woods when I listen to this track!

I had to share this with my father as soon as I heard it. He would take us camping when we were younger and this reminds me of when it would rain in the morning and we would just sleep in or just relax to the sound of the rain in our sleepingbags until it stopped. This really brings me back...
