北の昼前

昼前のひととき、水辺の境にほど近い森。鳥たちがあちこちでさえずりながら動き回り、キツツキが幹をこつこつと打つ。やわらかな風が木々を抜ける、ほどよくにぎわう心地よい昼前。

Coming back to this track after several years has been a treat. It's especially great if you're feeling lonely - the birds sound "friendly" and they are all getting along! I absolutely love the frequent woodpeckers in this recording, as well as the distant stream where the birds are all gathering to find their midday meal. Many great North American birds get the spotlight in this active track. Very well done!
My favored because of the Woodpeckers they take me back to walking in a English Wood (Is there any hope of you recording one day in England) Naturespace comment: Absolutely. We are going to capture the whole world. It just takes time.
By far my most favorite track. Can't stop listening!
This is one of your best, relaxing tracks in your whole collection& I have them all! This is so quiet, yet busy enough to be interesting! The distant hum of the wildlife in this is so real & the woodpeckers make this track! It reminds me of when I was young & my Father would take us to the Littlte Lake & we'd walk for approx., 45 minutes to the pond then sit & either picnic & play & eventually quite down & sit back relaxing to the noises of the forest, a forest with a woodpecker or two always. I'd definately recommend this track to everybody!
This is a really nice, lively track, but not too distracting while doing other things. It's become my favorite track when I'm working.
This instantly put a smile on my face. I love all that avian activity.
This track has a surprising amount of bird activity, and while it is bright and pleasant, it's probably not well suited for relaxation. It certainly captures quite a lot of bird activity that you don't hear so much in other tracks: ruffling of feathers, knocking, yapping, calling. There isn't another like this one in the Naturespace catalog.
There is a lot going on in this one. The woodpeckers actually surprised me a bit because they tap right next to you. The various birds seem to be engaged in quite a lively conversation. One thing that keeps me from enjoying this track as much as I thought I would is the dominant beeping call of some species of bird I don't recognize. At times they quiet down and the track becomes more what I was expecting; a gentle undertone of wind and water with chickadees, blue jays, towhees and others. I just wish the beeping birds werent quite as strong in this track since they overwhelm the general ambience at times.
This track is one of my top 5 favorites. The noisy, nasal birds come and go, while little songbirds and bugs buzz about. Occasionally, a crow or even a hawk can be heard. I still prefer Avian Dawn and Life After Life, but still a very warm and serene recording.
