L’immersione

Un classico viaggio Naturespace... sott’acqua. È molto lungo, attraversa ambienti mutevoli. Il respiro dei sub diventa ipnotico mentre attraversi il blu infinito. Ti lascia nella risacca, prima che il viaggio ricominci.

This track would be perfect, but the beginning kills the loopability. The loud splash, of the diver plunging into the water, it will shock you out of your tranquility! Especially worse, because the track gets quieter as it ends/loops. First time I listen to it, I dozed off, only to be shocked awake as it looped! I hated that so much, that I never played it since. Btw, this is easily fixable, just edit out the diver plunge/splash on the loop, play it only at the beginning, but cut it out of the looping…hopefully, they can patch that, there’s probably a few other tracks that can be improved this way as well.

This is my go to track when I need to regulate my breathing post panic. I breathe with the divers: deep breath in, slow (bubbly) breath out. Works well to help me relax with general anxiety too.

★★★★★

This is the only Naturespace track that I cannot recommend. While the rhythmic breathing of the diver is very relaxing, the splash of the driver jumping into the water is very jarring when the track loops as you're drifting off to sleep. This may be good for other applications than sleeping, but as someone who uses these tracks for sleep I very much dislike that splash.

★★★★★

They really need to edit this one with a smoother loop... Lose the dive into the water. Just as you fall asleep, the dive is so jarring it wakes you up.

The Dive is one if my favourite tracks. I like the journey through the sea - entering the water, breathing, a passing vessel, whales and a gentle end on the shore - masterfully done, a delight to listen to.

I love this one for sleeping, the slow, even breaths are relaxing and I imagine myself floating in the deep blue water. There are whale songs too, which are great. I fell asleep before the whales and I woke up hearing them. Very cool.

This track is my absolute favourite. I love diving and this track is incredible at making me feel 60ft under. Fantastic for meditation due to the natural but even breathing and the occasional whale sounds are an added treat.

★★★★★

Although I love the sea, I was never able to listen to underwater sounds before. Maybe it's because I'm less imaginative than other people (can't visualize having gills), or because I've suffered breathing problems in my past, but it used to feel suffocating. Not this time around though. The breathing of the divers is a game changer! It both makes me feel safe, and is indeed hypnotic. Great track.

★★★★★

Love this app very relaxing and comforting. I found myself berating with the divers, at their pace. There are some sounds, possibly whales, later on the track I start wondering what that is and why. I would love to get an app that is just this precious breathing without those strange sounds. Even so this is my go to track

Great!!!!

This track is amazing! You really feel as if you are underwater. It starts off with the divers jumping into the water which by the way isn't as startling as some people said. I think as long as you keep the volume at a moderate level you should be fine. Then along the way you hear whales and eventually resurface. Would highly recomemnd.

Interesting, but the sudden restart when the diver enters the water the second time through is too startling and annoying. It needs a rethink from your sound editor because as it stands now it is a poor editing job. (Naturespace comment: A "poor" editing job to us means someone made a mistake. It's not a mistake, it's on purpose. SCUBA diving involves jumping in the water and descending. It's part of the experience.)

I have to admit, I was skeptical at first about the Dive: but having listened to it all the way through (it indeed is a very long track) I have to say that it is probably the most fascinating journey track I've heard in the entire Naturespace catalog. It leads you slowly but surely into new areas underwater, and some of the revelations in the journey are simply breathtaking. Imagine listening for several minutes, long enough to "feel" you are underwater, and then hearing, softly in the distance, whales calling out to each other. It's so beautiful, and I actually found myself having the feeling I probably would have if I were the diver myself, of being a visitor in their undersea world. This track is both calming and interesting as a journey, even exhilarating at times. I highly recommend it.

This is one of my favorite tracks for meditation, and not just because I'm a diver. The initial breathing noises easily get you in the right frame of mind to meditate, and the subsequent journey is evokes beautiful imagery. Highly recommended

This is a really interesting track. A little off the beaten path. I really enjoy the whale songs on it.

★★★★★

I love this track, the sounds of being underwater are very peaceful. At first I tried to sync my breathing with the diver but then I relaxed and let it take me into a trance. All of a sudden I was jerked awake when the diver jumped back into the water, even though I was warned by the other reviewers. It would be perfect without that big splash. I do hope you make more underwater sounds. I love the whales and even just the simple sound of being underwater with no breathing, although the breathing is relaxing too. This one is very cool but prepare yourself for the jarring beginning when it loops.

★★★★★

Calming, broken up by a jarring repeating splash. I've never been able to pin down the cycle on a naturespace track before, but with this one it's obvious. Every few minutes, the diver re-enters the water. Breaks the illusion and highlights the repeat cycle. I thought I'd love it, but it kept ripping me from experience.

This is a great beat. If you have always wanted to scuba dive but you are afraid of the unknown, this is for you. It is a very long track, but when it loops the beginning is a little scary. Besides minor flaws like that this is a very interesting track! A MUST BUY!!!

★★★★★

This is one of my favorite tracks. The only problem is that when it loops it really is jarring. I would love to use this track to fall asleep to but it scares me half to death when it restarts. It's the only track in the store that you can tell when it loops too. I really hope it will be fixed so it's not so jarring when it restarts.

I wish the breathing never stopped. It's so relaxing...

This recording sounds artificial. Not pleasant. The acoustic environment of the breathing apparatus is different from the stereo ambiance of the water surroundings. The two disparate environments are so distinctly different, they don't even begin to mix. That's how this soundscape strikes me._____(Naturespace comment: We are inclined to think that you have never been SCUBA diving then. The speed of sound is four times faster underwater, so everything sounds unfamiliar and strange. There are also no acoustic reflections or reverberation occurring with anything nearby, so it may sound different from what you might expect, but that is the way it sounds like when diving. This is, however, the only Naturespace track that has sound emanating from the listener (the breathing diver), and for some we can see how it would seem odd.)

★★★★★

Quite a brilliant track. At first I was mildly distracted by the breathing, but after letting it sink in I was amazed. It provides a great focal point, and your fellow diver moving around you (or perhaps you moving around him?) adds an excellent layer to it. A new experience for me, but one that is very much worth repeating.

★★★★★

A fantastic track that is strangely relaxing. The breathing, bubbling sounds of the divers really do seem to invoke a state of deep relaxation. Explore an old ship wreck and watch a pair of humpback whales swim past. At the end there are sounds of surf, but they are heard from beneath the water at first. This track is relaxing enough to put me to sleep surprisingly quickly, while also being active enough to take you on a vivid, ever changing journey. My one small complaint is that it's the only track I've yet encountered that doesn't loop seemlessly, making the restart a little jarring. Still, I highly recommend this track.

This is one of my favorite tracks, possibly my favorite track. It takes you on a journey. first the splash as the diver falls into the water, and then the rhytmic sounds of breathing and bubbles rising through the water column. Even some whale song. Truley great. Highly recommend.
