This is one of my absolute favorite tracks, and I have a lot of favorites. There’s something about this one that feels like ASMR in the most comforting way. The sound of the cars is so realistic, it genuinely feels like they’re passing right by you, like you’re sitting at a quiet bus stop on a calm day. There’s not much traffic. Just a steady, slow and gentle flow of cars and soft rain falling around you. What I love most is how the rain isn’t constant. It’s that kind of gentle and light, shifting rain… the kind that comes and goes in waves, never overwhelming, but subtle. Almost like I can feel the mist of the cool early morning. And when there’s a break in the passing cars, sometimes it goes quiet, but you can still hear the wetness. It’s like the road itself is still settling from the last car, the way the gravel and asphalt hold onto that sound for just a moment longer. It’s subtle, but it makes the whole experience feel real. like you’re actually there. While this track is simple on the surface, there’s actually a lot of variety, If you know how to listen for it. And you can learn, just by listening without expectations. By letting go and tuning in, you start to notice all the small changes and subtle shifts in sound. It’s not as dramatic or obvious as some of the other tracks, but that’s what makes it special. It feels like it’s made for those quiet, peaceful moments when you just want to wind down and be transported to a simpler, calmer time.

Oh man, Naturespace finally goes cars! I was hoping they would after all the trains. This is a very nice mix; busy-ness without being frantic, with each car passing in stereo on a wet road like a wave on the beach. Really great switch up, and here’s hoping for more machinery and/or household appliance sounds to come (need a hummy, summer night air conditioner if you’re listening HINT).
