Alchimie

What listeners say
It's worth your money. Fortunately, have never experienced a forest fire from within (the closest I ever got was watching Bambi), but I never imagined that the sound of a roaring wildfire could be so... beautiful... inviting... and mesmerizing. Initially I was worried that the sound of being engulfed by fire would turn me off to the track, but once I started listening I completely forgot about my fears! It's so lovely and exciting. This track was my first foray into using NatureSpace for creative visualization. The sounds are incredibly realistic, but the situation (being in the middle of a forest fire) requires some imagination if you want to make sense of it. It can help to imagine yourself as Daenerys, or as a mythical fire god/dess. There are hundreds of other ways you could visualize this as well! You can also just use this track as an ambience. It's amazing over speakers in lieu of a fireplace.
Listened to on headphones, this track is pretty much as described - a crackling brush fire that varies in intensity. The wildlife sounds are very slight/distant and notable only at high volume. It does sound like a convincing wildfire - but that's not an environment I really want to mentally visit. However, I took the recommendation to listen to it as a campfire or fireplace track over speakers at night and it was perfect for this. The wildlife sounds are undetectable over speakers, and what sounds like a surrounding conflagration over headphones turns into a warm and crackling fire. The changing intensity of the burn just adds interest and doesn't sound dangerous. Best of all, this is a fire track that works great over speakers. Campfire Hypnosis is great on headphones but far too subtle for speakers at all. Radiance is pretty nice over speakers but focuses more on the "roar" of a large fire with the occasional loud pop, while Alchemy is more about the steady, continuous crackling of the burn. The fire does roar, but the roar undulates in and out. In this use I find it very nice.
If you like the tracks Campfire Hypnosis and Radiance, then you will like this one. This track has a more robust fire with louder crackling and popping sounds. Under headphones, this realistic fire puts you right in the middle of the action. So relaxing. At a distance, you can hear calls from coyotes. Listening to this can also warm you on a cold night. Very nice job NatureSpace.
Wow, perfect for relaxing. I love how it reminds me of a campfire when I listen quietly and how entertaining it is when I turn it up. Great job Naturespace!
Very good. It is holding me over until the summer! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
