Kudos to the NatureSpace team for this one! I love the sound of the rain in this track ... it reminds me of the sound of rain here in the country ... how it's falling off the roof and pooling on the ground. When we get rain like this during the warm months, I love to have the windows wide open so I can hear the water run off the roof and pool on the gravel driveway and make puddles in the grass. Unfortunately, once the rain starts, we are forced to close the windows to keep the rain from getting in the house and causing damage, so I thank you for the dry experience.. When listening to this track at a low volume, the rain sounds soft and steady; turn up the volume, and the raindrops sound large and saturating, drenching everything in its path. Love this!
Love this track! Takes me back to my days stationed at Fort Lewis, WA and the constant rain during field exercises. The only shelter, a rickety, leaky, old shack, probably built in WWII! I would drift off in that shack and find peace in the rain. Forgetting the horrors of my deployments and reveling in the peaceful cleansing of the rain. Thank you NatureSpace! I can find that peace again in this wonderfully recorded track!
The rain track I have been looking for. What a vivid yet non-intrusive sound space! At low volume levels it is the perfect white noise for reading or browsing the web without audible distractions to jerk you out of your train of thought. At slightly louder levels, it is perfect for closing your eyes and getting lost in the shelter in the forest. Love it!!
The soothing sound of falling rain is a favorite of mine for reading, relaxing, and sleeping. Cloudburst is a welcome addition to my Naturespace rain tracks, because it's unlike any of the others that I own. Cloudburst is a steady rain with no distractions and it falls somewhere between Eternal Reign (more gentle) and Soft Forest Rain (more dynamic). Highly recommend!!
This was recorded on my birthday! I love the sound of rain. Being deployed someplace where the average yearly rainfall is less than four inches, I deeply miss the sound of rain. This is PERFECT when relaxing in the evenings and when falling asleep.
This is my favorite rain track since Liquid Sunshine. This one's a lot wetter overall - a steady downpour in a deciduous forest. There is a quality of big, fat raindrops hitting a layered canopy of leaves. The picture is perfect because it does remind me of a rainstorm in early fall, when there are still some leaves on the trees. Sometimes there is a faint rumbling suggesting distant thunder, but its very faint. This does have a strong sense of multilayered space.
I have many of Naturespace's rain and storm tracks, but in just a few days of owning Cloudburst it's become one of my favorites. It's a very steady rain with gentle backdrop of water on leaves and the forest floor. It does have a sense of cooling off, as the description suggests. It is subtly dynamic but not distracting. I especially love it over headphones as an ambience for studying at home. It's not as strong at masking external sounds as other tracks, but does help draw my attention away from sounds in the environment. Thanks for another great track!
This is a what I would call a softer version of "soft forest rain". It's a nice, steady rain which makes for good background noise. I didn't notice much detail change throughout, so if you're looking for an experience like that, there's plenty of great tracks on here. Still an enjoyable track! Thanks Naturespace!
