Stille

Yet another favorite, this is marvelous!
As I not keen on wind . Stillness is just right for me ,it is so relaxing
This is one of many favorites on the Naturespace app. Downloading this app on my iPad was the best decision made. Stillness is a particular favorite as I find the rhythm helps me to 'switch off' and drift off to sleep. Other favorites for sleeping are Dreaming Phase, Helios Rising and Sheltered. Everyone is unique; for me I found it worked to play around with a few sounds until I found the right balance for me.
This track is just unique. I love it. It is very silent and yet it has great depth. The dynamics are low, but there is great detail and subtlety. I often like to listen to it at relatively high volume. There is no wind (I love that), there are different kinds of birds and insects besides criquets, I imagine. At the very far off distance I can hear a peacock, and maybe even a cow mooing and other very, very far off sounds of civilization and maybe even people, but maybe my imagination is fooling me with some of the subtler and quieter sounds. Anyway, I am not able to convince my brains of something else anymore :-) I am listening with an external DAC and premium headphones, which is great for opening up the depth and seperating the plethora of details. This is a very interesting, subtle and relaxing track, and the silence of the evening is palpable - like a soft blanket around the ears.
Wonderful. They are all of the utmost quality and sound. The realism is true to the sound as if you were there listening in person. Keep up the great job and I will continue to purchase and listen to these wonderful sounds/tracks.
Exquisite. Listen and dream.
Relaxing and peaceful, good for sleeping, I love the crickets and the occasional bird.
I didn't like this track as much as I thought or hoped I was going to like it. While relaxing and subtle, there seems to be something missing. I can't quite point my finger on it.
This is probably my favorite track. Sounds complex without being overproduced, gives a remarkable sense of space, and has delicate but distinct animal sounds. This can be both a good background or a pleasurable "active" listen.
This track is exactly what it is named: stillness. It mainly consists of steady, yet not overpowering crickets. There are a few birds in the background, a few single chirps or a steady, sweet song. I like to listen and imagine the stillness.
Wonderfully relaxing and amazingly looped, by far one of my more favorite tracks to fall asleep to! 5/5
This has become one of my favorite night tracks because it is so serene. Most of the evening tracks feature crickets, and the ones here provide a multilayered midground. I say midground because there is a lot of depth and space in this track, so nothing seems particularly loud, although you do get the feeling of the crickets surrounding you. What makes this track particularly unique are the calls of the night birds. Rather than being filled with active energy like bird sounds in many tracks, these birds seem to be serenading you distantly as you go to sleep. It's a great track for anyone who likes dry environments as well.
Excellent track!! My favorite of the 8 I've purchased so far. Very soothing - really helps me sleep better.
"Stillness" is not as still as the name may imply. While it lacks the rain or wind of other downloads, it makes plenty of noise with a variety of birds and bugs. On headphones, the nonstop chirping of crickets can get fatiguing to the ears, even at low volumes. I find this one harder to sleep to because it's so lively with insect sounds, but as ambience for work or general relaxation it would put me in a nice summer evening frame of mind. The lack of breeze or water leaves such a pristine and dry sound that I suspect this might feel more 'real' through speakers, picking up the natural ambience of the room you're in. An excellent environmental recording that captures the location well, although not quite as soothing to me as something like 'Star Reflections' or 'Liquid Sunshine'.
Stillness is one of my very favorites. The ultimate in relaxation, but IMO benefits greatly from headphone listening. I do not find it nearly as relaxing on speakers. Wonderful to listen to while going to sleep. Love when the branches "crack".
This was great to meditate to! I was taken away!
I was hesitant to buy this track, because I was afraid it would be 'too quiet'. I am glad I got it, as it is incredibly relaxing and even sounds fantastic over speakers.
Possibly the most beautiful and serene track available, "Stillness" perfectly captures the environment. It's so detailed, delicate and so unbelieveably realistic I actually *feel* like I'm there. Delightfully relaxing and undoubtedly the most breathtaking of them all.
I absolutely LOVE this track.....an easy winner for my choice of night time sleeping. As others have said, it's is one of the most quiet tracks, but it is for this reason it stands out as a really special piece of audio. Buy it as a sleep piece
I love it. Elegant minimalism
DO NOT! buy this track if your looking for a thicker sounding enviourment, but if your looking for more subdued back noise, AWESOME TRACK
I have downloaded lots of Naturespace tracks, and really enjoyed them. Sadly, this is the first one I really couldn't get behind. I was in the hospital last night and used Sedona Triangle to help drown out the blips and bleeps and alarms, but by bedtime I wanted something even simpler and softer. I was really hoping this track would do the trick, but I didn't fInd it still at all. The intensity and pitch of the crickets was the opposite of soft and spacious. Perhaps, some folks do enjoy that constant high pitched cricket noise, but I was hoping for something even more gentle. I liked the birds, but bugs in tracks aren't my thing. Oh well. Great track record over all though!
I would recommend this to people who like "dry" sounding enviorments, where there is little going on but just enough to get that ambience, but to people who Like "richer" sounding environments, this won't be your favorite track, but it's still good just not for me.
A great track that is especially serene and relaxing. Great to fall asleep to. Recommended.
Stillness is an absolutely beautiful and simple track. They were right when they said there was no wind...at all. The tropical birds and subdued chirp of insects is extremely hypnotic and peaceful. I found it greatly relaxing.
