Brandung am Riff und leises Sprudeln
By Naturespace · 3 reviews ·

Long, slowly approaching waves which break softly on the shore before you. The shallow foam washes up to your feet. This is a good wave track for sleeping as it combines the qualities of white noise with the hypnotic pattern of water, all naturally of course. It manages to keep up a constant sound field without the ocean feeling too threatening or intense for soothing sleep.
How is this different from the Infinite Shoreline? I noticed that the waves in Shoreline are more simple, clean and clearer. The waves reach closer to you. The 3D experience is more transparent and intimate. Whereas in Reef Breakers the track is more windy which creates the a wider and more open-deeper sense of space. The closest wave is more distant compared to Shoreline and there are more than one wave rolling across the line. The fizz that you heard in Shoreline is more full, last longer and more frequent here - which produce a better soothing air presence. Love this part. And despite a more spacious and windy track, it's easy to sleep with it at low volume. Neither one track is better than the other - both tracks are unique in their own ways. However, technically, there are more things going on in this track (at closer proximity and also further away) - the wave washes and the wind blows - giving a different kind of 3D experience that is more vast. It also helps better to 'clear your mind' and encourages you to 'breathe'.
Daytime shore sound, could be any time of year. The distant roar of the ocean mingles with spray and fizz sounds of the salt sea. Deep foam across the sand that pushes up further than expected – the kind that covers your ankles, sprays your clothes and gets you damp before you realize that the tide was coming in so high already. Active in sound but rhythmic as only the sea can be. Awesome under earbuds. The full effect is a tad lost over speakers.
